on my cyclone i have 5 medium nosferatu and 3 malkuth heavy missiles, 1 large shield extender, 1 medium cap booster loaded with 800pcs large shield booster II,1 a/b or a mwd, a webber for pve and scrambler for pvp. 3 power diagnostics, 1 co-proccessor.
Can any one suggest any modifacations i can make to this setup? teh low slots sucks, but my cap keeps runing and runing, if my booster can keep up with the target's damage, i'll win,
Maybe i should drop 1 medium nos and replace it with a small nos? or replace 2 med nos and replace em with 2 small nos, then add better stuff on low slots that would improve my missile damage and rate of fire etc.

Some hardeners might help you keep up with more damage. Also, a boost amp is the shield boosters best friend :-P |

Why don't you use guns instead of launchers? I ran a cyclone through quickfit and came up with this...

ive tried that weapon setup but not t2, and personally, i prefer my weapon setup. thanx for your opinion though!

3 Heavy launchers as the only weapons? What exactly are you fighting against, Indies? Gotta take ages to kill anything else...

3x med nos 5x 180mm ac's (or 220's)
20k scram web mwd large t2 booster large t2 extender
2x gyro II 2x pdu II
Named and t2 is better etc...
To the OP, your setup is horrible. i don't think i need to explain why

5x 220mm vulcan 3x med nos
1x 10mn mwd 1x 20km scram 1x large shield booster II 2x invuln fields
1x PDS II 1x named damage control 2x gyro II

That could be I havent really PvPed much since I got my drone skills up.
I know against NPCs they are very underated. They clean up webbers and interceptors really quick.

5 220mm's and 3 med nos doesnt work as good as 5 med nos as 3 heavy launchers, well for me anyway.

3 heavy malkuth as a main damage dealer... Are you hunting frigs and indies in the cyclone?
webber and vulcans are your friends, throw out worthless cap booster and put shield boost amplifier instead, and dare I ask why do you need shield extender when your enemies are frigs?

they're not frigs lol it would take a while to kill the target, but it can be done once their cap is dry :)

This actually a pretty intellegent setup for those ignorant people posting in this thread.
The idea is to suck the enemies cap dry. (Of course you don't use htis setup on a Bs because you can't tank them or suck them dry of cap) But for any other ship once his cap is gone so is his tank and if he is amarr or gallente he won't be able to fire either.
The cap booster is there so that once the target runs out of cap he doesn't. When someone has no tank it doesn't matter how weak your guns are it is just a matter of time. ----------------------------------------- I have a couple suggestions. Maybe trade in a nos for an energy disruptor. It kills as much cap as 3 nos combined. But you will have to depend on your cap booster a little more. Btw the cyclone only has 5 mids.
Get rid of the extender and the webber. You won't need the webber if you can use precision heavy missiles and the nos will stop inties. Don't try to passive tank and use a sb at the same time. You either put 2 extenders and a combo of shield relays in the lows. Or a large shield booster with an invulnerability field.
Imo an active tank is better because you have almost infinite cap, you will get better shield per second with a large t2 shields booster and better resists. In the lows try to train up weapon upgrades and use nos that uses less cpu to get rid of that co-proc. and add a bcu or 2.

While I like nos setups, I'm not sure that a cyclone is the best ship to do this
Somebody said to remove the web, i'm not really sure, if somebody isn't webbed and manages to get out of nos range, you're screwed ...
What really surprises me is the fact that you use heavy missiles ...
To be efficient, this setup requires to be within 10km to be able to NOS your target, which means that your autocanons should deal more damage thant missiles ... Are you skilled in missiles and lack skills for gunnery? using 5 nosses and 3AC should bring results if it is not the case, and possibly free enough CPU to drop the cor-proc (didn't do the maths, I'm just posting a few suggestions that need ot be checked)
what puzzles me if the fact that you use a scrambler in pvp, and don't have web, which means that a frig with good reflexes will back away from you as soon as it sees the nosses and might manage to escape due to bettermanoeuvrability, agile bigger ships will probably do the same ... ____________

well. i forgot to post saying that i use the disruptor. i said scrambler, sry my mistake :S anyway, ill try the auto cannon's, and my drones deal some damage too. maybe i could get the http://www.eve-online.com/itemdatabase/shipequipment/drones/combatutilitydrones/23536.asp instead of a webber, then 3 small drones to fight. Also, i believe this is more effecient than the webber because you have bigger range than using the webber? I'll use the auto's and the missl's to see the difference.
