This was on the patch review forum. Those are changes in build 1199. Thought you all would like to see this.
Quote:
A few new missions have been added into the game which give rare modules as reward. Most are level 3, but occasionaly you might come across these missions from level 1 or 2 agents.
The time bonus rewards have been added to the "ally in need" missions (at level 3), and the objective are not as expensive anymore. These missions used to not be worth it compared to lower level missions.
Don't care much about the time bonus change but I really like the rare items part This and boosters. Finally these missions are going to pay off. I'm so happy

yes good stuff...doing missions like crazy at the moment (also cause i want the locate pilot feature ) but this new stuff will really make it worth doing agent stuff instead of it being just a gimmick.

They didn't mention them Daes, but I'm hopeful. Implants and rare items are enough to keep me happy for the moment though. I can't wait!

Hopefully those are REAL rare items, though, and no "150 carbide rails" or similar crap. That would be as bad as the previous "nonrare" items.

I doubt they'll be implimenting 4th level agents yet. Sounds like Papa Smurf still has some work to do on those corp vs corp missions. I can't wait for them but all this new stuff is going to keep me happy for a while. I just hope that the rare items will be something similar (or better) to the best pirate loot around. Am I the only agent mission doing player who is feeling like we got the short end of the stick? I know I'm not close to a battleship and I have been playing ALOT. The best item I have gotten so far is a 50 MM reinforced steel plate I really hope that the agent missions will be one way of introducing new tech to the game. And not just items, I'm talking blueprints.

I'm anxious for the updates to Agents as well. I'm also really, really hoping for some agent missions with BP's as a reward. I don't expect them to be very frequent, or really until we get lv4/5 agents... But I'm hoping to get some seriously nice tech/items from agent BP's.

The set-up for the corp vs corp missions sems to be there. I've been transporting marines to a staging area for a particular corp <stage whisper>I can't say who...the walls...have ears</stage whisper> to build up forces prior to an invasion which I don't have enough clearance to hear about. I'm sure if I could just talk to this guys....or girl's...boss I'd be able to learn a lot more but I'm not trusted enough yet.
Oh well....I guess I'll just have to save more premiers.

... Some more changes:
"1204
Increased the difficulty of some existing level 2 and 3 agent npc-kill missions."

Not sure if those made it onto Chaos. A level 2 agent "Save the VIP" mission put me against a pair of rats - 1.5k and 2.5k respectively.

I know in other posts, the devs said they would be adding implants as mission rewards with this patch, but this message didn't mention implants.
I don't know for sure but I don't think modules are the same thing as implants.

Wondered about that, too. Seems to have been delayed.

Last I heard, you can still get them on TQ, although they won't have any work, they will have the much-desired locator service, and security services.
(I've got two already, so I'm not overly fussed) .

This worries me too. I have been doing agent missions since the second i read about implants. No mention of the skill being added either. Oh well i hope the drops are really good!!

The implants are here...
Just recieved one Social Adaptation Chip - (Basic) as a reward for a get commodity mission (50 polytextiles for uniforms, if any is interested), from an awesome level 3 agent.
A bit miffed that the Navy couldn't hand me Willpower or Perception implant instead, but I'll take what ever they give me.
And of course I can not use it, as I'm lacking the Cybernetics skill.. *mutters*
