Sorry if this has been posted before but I am fairly new to the game (about a week now) and have been doing a considerable amount of mining to try and earn some money and go hunt some NPC pirates and get into the game more.
The thing I've noticed with this game is that when you target an asteroid it shows you how many lasers are targetting it, but it doesn't show how many harvester drones are...
Maybe a good idea would be to have the amount of lasers / weapons attacking a target on the right side (like it is now) and put the drones on the left side of the target icon...
Am I talking sense or is this stupid / been done before or going to be done?

The reason I asked is because when your cargo hold is full, your lasers stop working and you can see this because they stop flashing green and you can see it on the target image at the top how many lasers are actually mining.
The drones however, don't show what they are doing - mining or orbiting you (well I don't think they do) so maybe putting the icon next to the target is a good idea?

Agreed (to a point)
Having up to 18 little icons next ti a ship (8 turrets + 10 drones) could get a bit messy.
Perhaps some indication in the drones window

Why not show a text message next to the name of the drone in the Drone window saying what the drone is doing:
"Wasp - attacking Blood Flower"
I like the little icons next to the target as well, but 18 little icons would get a little crowded on 1 target, but I'm ok with 18 little icons.

Would also be nice to see the same solution (whatever is decided for combat drones) to also work for mining drones as well.
