So we have a skill for shield hardeners that also decreases shield penetration per level. Now that running an armor repairer instead of a shield booster will be a viable if not better option for those of who use a MWD in an amarr ship like armageddon, will we be getting a new or modified skill to decrease armor penetration? Structure seems to take more of a beating when armor gets low compared to armor getting hit when shield gets low...could be wrong here but thats how it seems to me.

I believe it's becaus unlike Armor and Shield, Structure has 0 resistance to all damage types. That means that any weapon with any ammo does maximum damage to structure.

Makes sense Kozak, all the more reason for a skill to help out there..you can really sustain a lot of structure damage by the time your armor is just down to 1/3 and if the damage is to systems you have to dock to repair it.

Either make armor the same as shields where structure is not affected until armor is gone, or bring back the bleed through dmg for shields.
Personally I'd prefer to see bleed through dmg that could be mostly negated with skills. Tactical shield manipulation's only use now is to allow the use of shield hardeners, and doesn't affect shield penetration at all like it was originally intended. You should need lvl 5 tactical shield manipulation for shields to behave like they do currently, with a similar skill for armor.
It's clear that something will have to change before we'll start seeing armor as a primary defensive strategy, and not just something we use to keep us alive long enough to run after shields drop. Perhaps armor as a primary defensive strategy was not the intent of these latest changes. I had hoped that it was...
