Am getting enough items together with buy orders that hauling with my alt isn't time effective and the volume isn't cost effective with RD so as a rule what is a good fee to pay per jump / per volume ? IE: for 50 cubic for 4 jumps ? Th in advance . Stand for something.....or fall for anything. |

For any sizeable cargo that requires a freighter, many freighter captains charge 500K per jump, sometimes a 500K "undock" fee on top of that, and you should also expect to pay more for rush jobs. Possibly 1mil per jump.
Some pilots also take collateral value into account when calculating the total fee.
Ask them before you contract anything, and I think almost all have sites where you can enter the variables yourself and calculate the fee.
Can recommend both PUSH and Cirkulos.

Working as intended; suck it up, Princess.

To be honest it's all about the value of the cargo you are sending around.
Sometimes I reward the player for more than 500.000 / jump when i need it fastly delivered, otherwise i go to 500.000 or lower (if it's not a huge amount of goods) if i am not in a hurry; so the player can combine multiple contracts in a freighter, for example.
Remember that you have to share some of your profits with the player(s) who take the job for you, don't act like you should lowball your courier.

Yup haulers channel is a great way to get your stuff moved fast.Payments depend mostly on the size of collateral and how fast you want stuff delivered.Usually i go for collateral around 1.5 B to 2 B and pay 1M per jump for it.
We are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid.

If it does not need to be moved fast:
- Low value (<10m), low volume (frigate sized): 15k ISK/jump in high. Yep, people do them that cheap. - Medium value (25-250m), Iteron sized cargo: 100k/jump - High value (250m-1250m), up to freighter size: 500k/jump. It will be done for less but you might wait a while. - Very high value (1250m-10b): 2m/jump, may take a while - Extreme value (>10b): Probably somewhere around 2-5% of the collateral for most situations. Very few people do contracts like this and they aren't the useful idiots that take large numbers of low value contracts for pitiful ISK returns. https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=238931 - an idea for a new form of hybrid PVE/PVP content. Tyvm all. Exactly the ranges for the variety of circumstances I had in mind. Have been using Red Frog and Black Frog (and still will ) but the smaller contracts to group the product together for a large frog load is exactly what I had in mind. Stand for something.....or fall for anything. |

One special consideration is if you need hauling between 2 trade-hub , for this you do things very cheaply.
People constantly move stuff between the hubs especially between Jita and smaller hubs, for people who already going in the direction you need and have some extra cargo space, to take some extra baggage, is just some free money even if they the payment is very small.
So if your cargo is not extremely big and not extremely expensive in term of collateral you can ask ridiculously small sums of money and it still will be delivered, much cheaper and usually even faster that using professional haulers like red frog

This only applies for low collaterals.
Recently I wanted 2200m worth of Photon Microprocessors taken from Jita to Dodixie and even at 1m per jump it took 18 hours to get taken. Itwas only 5% of a freighter lload or half an orca. https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=238931 - an idea for a new form of hybrid PVE/PVP content. Yes as I wrote collateral is also a consideration, people moving stuff from station to station don't usually posses billions of free cash at hand. But you up to the point you can split the bigger shipments into smaller ones. I pay from 50k to up to 100k per jump. With collateral of up to 200m

I only have 13 contract slots so I'm not going to go overboard on the splitting, although in hindsight it would probably have made sense to split that job into three. https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=238931 - an idea for a new form of hybrid PVE/PVP content.
