Do or would anyone pay for intel for anyone on the wanted list, like location and armaments?
Curious.

Probably not to be honest, people don't really hunt bounties, unless one is presented right in front of them.

If the list builds like i and others hope it will, then Bounty Hunting will actually become a more viable career. In that case, people will need more information.
Information brokers are not new to any industry that is lucrative. I have hopes that the bounty changes in the upcoming Kali expansion will boost the need for the Wanted list and the information that thread will provide.
Good thinking, Nya, its nice to see others get involved in trying to improve EVE within the community instead of whining, doing nothing, or waiting on CCP to make changes for them.

In all honesty, the way isk flows in EVE, bounty hunting is never really going to mean anything except in rare cases.
Let's face it, nobody with a year or so of play time is going to go hunt even a 50mil bounty on the head of an experienced player, and spend a few days doing so, when they can earn that much in missions or belt ratting/plexing, in a fraction of the time.
when I started, I managed to make 1mil isk in my 1st 24 hours and it was hard, and ment alot to me. If someone had offered me 1mil to try to take down someone's pod, i probably would've jumped right on it.
Now 1mil is nothing. Can get that much in an average lvl 3 mission, or several times that in a good one like an extravaganza. A few months from now the 5-6mil I make an hour ratting will probably seem like nothing because I'll be using a HAC or BS to rat in*.
* I have plenty of the support skills trained and could spend about 10 days or so getting Caldari BS IV and cruiser or torp IV, but I guess I like being flexible more than being focused on 1-2 ships., whic im sure will be the death of me.

I donno...I think the OP has sparked an idea...
You guys are always talking about ransoming, right?
Well what if someon paid you ISK to make life hell for the key fighters of an alliance who try to run missions or mine?
Now that would be pure ebil and pure fun...

It's a great idea. Sure there are ways to make more money, but hardly a better way.
Read bio, eve-mail for questions.

could work Nya,
wonder if ppl will pay for sniper BMs? A good sniper will keep moving, but having the initial BM to get close can help.
anyway, what would you charge for intel on a -10 pirate's alt? Interested in alt info. |

Hate to break it to you guys but there is more to playing a game than earning fake money in it. I would have fun if I wanted to track people down and act as a bounty hunter.
