Altough I did not make in time for the destruction of Vic, I did make it in time for the aprehension of Albert Vance. All I can say is that I am proud of the actions taken by my corporation members took on behalf of the State and hope that Albert gets whats coming to him.

Congratulations on a hunt well executed.
Can't say I'm overly happy with CONCORD being involved, and I'd rather Caldari authorities would take care this issue, but on the whole congratulations on a job well done.

Nor was I.
Their insistance on taking command after they'd already proven themselves incompetent sever times before, and requesitioning such an unneccasarily large fleet for something two or three people could have easily done was a terrible waste of time and resources for all involved.
Given their track record, Dr Vance will be out convincing Intaki to refer to him as daddy by the end of the week. ____________________

So you support his intention of making a mind control device? Thats outlandinsh for someone who preaches freedom so much. As for CONCORD, if he escapes again I think that it should be left to the Caldari Navy to apprehend him. ------------------

You kill a Gallente citizen that you claim has been 'mind controlled' and boast about it?
Where is your proof?
In my eyes you are just another bloodthirsty Caldari getting back at a Gallente for things long forgotten! And the fact that the only ones congratulating you are also Caldari stinks like the revanchist stuff your lot usally lets loose on the GalNet...

He actually had two devices. Though not his own creation. They are devices under the control of which the Caldari state has been since it's inception.
They are called "fear" and "greed." In truth all he really did was to trigger these pre-existing devices and, mis-judged their powerful effect.
Let us not be naieve enough to think there are purely altrustic goals behind the capture - as opposed to destruction - of Dr. Vance and the destruction - as opposed to capture - of the only impartial witness on hand.
So the militaristic, capitalistic Cladari regime has in its..."tender" care, the self proclaimed creator of a functioning mind control device.
Gee...nothing bad could come from that scenario, hmm?

I certainly agree: Evidence that the Caldari state has been involved in the use of transcranial microcontroller (mind control) devices with....less than satisfactory results, and the fact that the same state now holds in it's possession someone it claims has been able to successfully implant mind control devices are two cozy little co-incidences that I don't think anyone is taking lightly. Let alone ridiculing.

Now now Nik, look at how Sansha ruled his people, then replace him with a brilliant Caldari mind and our technology. The device that was being worked on was quite real in some shape or form, it's just a shame this didn't all end sooner*.

I'm afraid I cannot do that. You might not be aware of this, but Caldari Prime is not part of our State.
Another thing that you might not be aware of is how we fought the Federation in The War. Condors and Kestrels piloted by our heroic ancestors engaged Gallente battleships and orbitary bombardment platforms. They were outgunned, outnumbered, and the enemy probably went "OoooOOooh! Kestrels and Condors! Anyone else find that amusing?!" right before our fighters breached their blockade and led our people to safety.
It is truely a shame to see a Caldari out of all people trying to look down on his fellow citizen just because they can only pilot Condors and Kestrels to aid the State. Truely a shame.

If I recall correctly (And it's possible that I may not), it was they who tracked down where in the system Vance and Stats were hiding. Intel is just as important as combat strength. A complement of cruise missles and torpedoes does nothing if you don't know where to point them.
While I may have personally disagreed with their behavior during certain parts of the operation, their contribution cannot be simply dismissed. And as you said, their loyalty counts for something as well.

Mordu's Legion is composed of Caldari and Intaki. Not Gallente. And you can't really say you have their blood just by working for them.
Regardless, your arrogance on this matter is indeed over the top. Any pilot who made an attempt to rein in those two individuals should be commended.

Edited by: Jester87 on 16/03/2006 03:12:59 Edited by: Jester87 on 16/03/2006 03:10:55 The Intakis were integrated into the Gallente Federation a few centuries ago. Their thoughtful and composed manner suited the Gallente society well. The Intakis are especially good at human interaction and are very prominent in the Federal bureaucracy. Though the Gallentean culture has permeated their society they still cling to a few cultural identities they consider their own, most notably their life-cycle theories. It gives them a unique look in life and death and many contribute their stoic nature to this philosophy.
They are Gallente.
When the Caldari broke from the Gallente Federation many Intakis that sympathized with their cause were exiled from the Federation. The most militant of those went over to the Caldari and asked to join them in their fight against the Federation. These were all experienced military personnel and thus very valuable in the early stages of the war when veterans were few and far between. The Intakis were all put into a separate squadron, with a Caldari officer. His name was Muryia Mordu. Mordu was a brilliant young officer and one of the more open-minded Caldari, who generally are extremely xenophobic. He immediately took to the Intakis and they to him and together they formed one of the more revered fighting units in the Caldari Navy during the war with the Federation.
Again.. Intaki's (Formerly of the Gallente federation) joined the Mordu's Legion.

How can you say that! Intaki's were added to the Gallente Federation centuries ago, there cultures have merged and now incorperate many of the same charectoristics, there people have im sure bred together as well. The Intaki's in the legion may not like it, but there are very cloesly tied with the Gallentians.
