How many other EVE players have lost ships due to their computer frezing??
So far I have lost 10 Cruisers frezing in belts or dead spaces,
2 Ferox's - One in a 4/10 dead space the other in a 0.0 belt
and 1 Battleship in a 0.0 space belt><

omfg, i've lost 0. Maybe because my computer has the hardware needed and a decent internet connection.

Buy a stick of RAM preferably 1gb. Eve sucks up a lot of memory/cpu so thats your best place to start, or ideally upgrade everything possible, gfx card, motherboard, processor etc.

Sadly I am on a laptop:p with a 64mb Vid card. Getting a new computer soon^_^ with AMD Processor and Nforce 4 chipset Mobo.

2 domis and 1 brutix, along with 1 domi that made it out of an engagement with my skills holding it together. 
Needless to say, my comp's specs suck.

3 bs, 4 bc, 2 frigs...each one petitioned..each time i was made to feel like a scamming liar by the GM's...which is why if i get the same type of responce on my current petition (which ive been waiting 10 days for) im canceling my multiple accounts.
and yes i do have 1 gb ram, yes i do have a 2gb connection..and yes the customer suport in eve sucks to high hell.

I've never lost a ship to frezzing, nor do I know what language "frezzing" is even a valid word in.

It seems a bit random, I don't think I have lost any ships to freezing or lag (at least they were taking so much damage that they were going to go down anyway). A friend of mine who lives a minutes walk away lost a Cyclone in a complex due to a lag spike, but he runs a better system than me. Go figure

Far too many to count. I'm on a laptop too so I can't really upgrade anyhing except the RAM. I haven't lost any ships to freezing since I suck an extra 256Mb RAM inside. I had 192 before.

I've lost just two Ishtars to freezing.
But my hardware is just Dual Opteron (2* single core), 2GB ECC Ram, 72GB WD 10k Raptor and 7800GTX graphics card. Also my poor Internet connection of 12mbps might be a reason for these freezings.

I don't get freezes, but the wiring in my house causes my router to randomly loose connection, depending on the local internet traffic. SO this means I can disconnect at any time - And I have, in battle, idle, in station.. warping to a gate... warping to a station. I've been lucky so so many times, having nearly exploded many of those times. And a couple of times I have, including podded. Ah yes, glorious crappy copper cabling...

over 1B in ships and moduels so far maybe 250m petitioned and refunded. Um no biggie just go out in the backup or the 5th backup or whatever jump back on the bike and have some fun.
Have made some PVP kills where my oppponent has jammed up (all good tho easier to kill and good loot mostly) at least CCP does one good hting :)
CCP: requested feature please - quite simple really.
For CEOs, days since last login details on all members in their Corp. this will help manage inactives and those that dont log in can be removed. |

One raven, was lined up and all when a 37 ship fleet jumps in. Been running the client a bit to long so I suffered from the mem leak. Client frezzes and by the time I get control back I am tackled and halfway into armor.

Freezing as in you need to reboot the PC: never happened to me
Freezing as in game locking up then dropping you to desktop: happens all the time, but havent lost a ship to it.

I have lost a grand total of 0 ship due to disconnects and freezing...
And trust me when i say i have a SERIOUSLY crappy connection. I think i disconnect more in a day than anyone i know in a week.
Ever since CCP put in the feature that your ship warps to a random safe spot when you disconnect i haven't lost a single ship. I'm not sure about you, but for me it's standard policy to kill anything scrambling me first and foremost... |

eve has a memory leakage so more ram wont really help...
i have lost more then i can count.
