Linked! :D
And I certainly need to read all the backstories. But first I need to go take care of this red-filled Bladder bar. ;)

I wonder if CCP will ever make an official section for statistical data/blue prints/wire, crew sizes, etc. Yes, I know it's not all that important, and yes there might be better things to be worked on, but for some people who like to immerse themselves in these little details of the game would love to have the info available. :)
Plus casualties would be cool to see in an alliance war outcome rather than just isk lost.

It would be nice to be able to upgrade your crew with specilized people that would draw pay from you. It could make your ship faster or have more power or cpu... for a price, and you would have to have good standing. ya that would be cool!

Where did you read that? It would be very interesting if that was the case.
"The main building block in space structures. A very hard, yet bendable metal. Cannot be used in human habitats due to its instability at atmospheric temperatures. Very common throughout the world."
From the description of Tritanium in game.
That is kinda odd, but they must have a way around it in space as by that description spacestations would also be built of Tritanium and there full off walking talking people.

This is why I have to stop sleeping.
I leave the forums alone for a few hours, and THIS happens.
Besides, rather than have the argument AGAIN, just link them to the thread discussing this, until they finally read it and shut up. -------- Tom Thumb > for a nut case you rawk [04:21:15] Mebrithiel Ju'wien > Nik's bio 4tw btw [07:38:53] Graelyn > Nikolai for Dev 108!

It's all very simple. You can't make a ship with tritanium alone.
Obviously, the internal areas of the ship are coated with pyrite.

Originally by: Kaa Pullani well, who gives a monkeys?
But one thing - how many BSs are lost in Eve every day (including NPC ones) - 10, 20K? If you multiply that by 5000 as a typical ship complement, then that's an awful lot of trained people getting fried every day - I doubt even the eve galaxy could sustain it - and who the hell would become part of a ship complement with a life-expectancy of like a week?
Of course, i go back to - who gives a monkeys anyway.
Ahh but cloning has been virtually mastered in the Eve Universe, they would simply re-clone the dead crews, replacing them every now and again at a lower rate and far less frequently.

For the world is hollow and I have touched the sky.
It's not a good idea to examine our virtual world too closely...unless you enjoy "If they had a fight, which one would win...Superman or The Hulk?" kinds of endless arguments.

Ships have crews.
The pod only replaces the need for a bridge crew, nothing else. The commands the captina (in the pod) gives can be exectued immediately, instead of having to wait for the bridge crew to carry them out, it's that simple.
