This just in...
"CCP has now introduced a new service called Babysitter! Whenever there is some obscene material that might be picked up by a young child, a CCP representative will immediatly distract the child with a Barbie doll / Monster truck. This is due to many complaints by players, with young children hanging on their backs, that they are unable to play the game in peace without distractions of their own flesh and blood. CCP is aware of this problem and will be hiring more babysitters in the coming months to address this problem, as it is in CCP's best interest that no players should feel responsible for their children or their actions while playing the game."
I also remember one joke Chris Rock said in a standup once, "... well i take care of my kids!; Well you are supposed to!"
If anyone thinks that their kids are being exposed to dirty language, obsene literature or what have you. Take control of it. Don't ***** about it to the companies that make the products for everyone. It's not their job to control who sees what. It's your TV/Book/Computer! Play eve when your kids aren't there! |

My old name used to be "France Sucks" but apparently someone from France saw me fly by and a couple days later I was simply "Caldari Citizen 8567" lol.

I've called in many offensive names in my years of MMORPG'ing. All games have a Terms of Service about names and if you don't want to follow the rules of it, don't b*tch when your name gets changed.
The point is not just children seeing bad names. Adults also don't want to see that immature crap. RP'ers also don't like to see such names in a mmoRPG.
90% of the time it's just some immature kiddies trying to get attention and act cool in game cause that failed that course in real life. >.>
That saying, if you can't follow the rules you shouldn't be playing the game anyway.
