Don't know if it has been proposed before, but I think t2 shuttles could be a nice alternative to clone jumping.
Make the require spaceship command 5 and let them use the same anount of minerals as normal shuttles +1 piece of morphite or something.
And if you really want to pimp them give them twice the cargohold.
Possibly you could also just axe away the entire cargohold as it has gotten filled with a bigger engine, making them suitable only for transport and not even small courier missions.
-It might have been suggested before, tho.

I'd like to see a T2 shuttle with 50 m/3 space, 800 m/s speed, 50% resists on everything - All for 500k a shuttle :)

There's already a T2 shuttle. Its called the Ares.

I can foresee the coming of a new threat/d.
The ' Nerf Shuttles! ' Army of doom will once again rise under one banner, demanding the immeadiate and complete obliteration of shuttles.
Its leader, Emperor Pulpthatwhines secretly... >cut due to budget issues<

The idea was to make it cheap, require skills, and let you afk-jump a bit faster.
Besides, sure Ares does all these things but I was aiming around a t1 frig's cost, not several million.
Just making an improved version of the regular shuttle.
If you want hyper fast travel, use a ceptor with instas, this should be an alternative to jump clones, without the massive amounts of mission running required.

Sounds reasonable. I'd like that. Training 'ceptors just for going around faster is overkill IMO.

Sounds good, also a new and unique design for the shuttles would be in order, the current amarr and minmatar ones look like crap.
