Well, add me to the frozen UI kill list. I had this problem happen to me 5 times today. It seems to happen more when I switch ships. It's even worse during PvP. I've had to drop out of 2 gangs because of the frozen UI problem. :(
Could everyone report this bug asap so it can be fixed immediately.
Anybody have a direct link where we can report this problem?

I have the teamspeak problem mentioned above. I have your exact same symptoms, camera stares off into distant space or something, can't control it or reset it. It happens quite often (less than every 30 minutes) and will reset if I dock in a station.
If I do not run teamspeak, it never happens. It is definitely a teamspeak related problem in some strange way.

Found out that it was my mother board's on board sound. I switched over to an external USB headset, and the problem went away. Might be worth a shot for some of you.
My Mobo is the DFI Lan Party UT nf3.

Anyone fond a solution/workaround for this yet. It's definatly not onboard sound.
It might be Teamspeak but i just cannot stop using Teamspeak. No TS no game.

I've noticed this issue myself and concluded that it was being caused by the EVE client freaking out on my Dual Core CPU. So when I start EVE, at the login screen, I set the CPU Affinity on that process to just use one CPU core. I can then load another client set to use the opposite CPU core. I can then run this way for several hours before the memory leak kills me.
Without doing this, I get the screen freeze and every client within 20 minutes of logging in. Hope it helps.

Nah using single core A64 here and it's no client freez. The chat and UI are fully responsive. I even fought some guy once while my screen wasn't updating anymore.
I couldnt see him but i could target him with the overview!

Think yer self lucky you did lost a 2 mill equiped coercor last night + plus the bonus and the cargo from the mission i was on,totally gutted killed by drones coz of the screen frezze,think there should be a way of getting compo for losing ships to this bug
