Obviously locking posts which break the forum rules (like this one for example) is easy enough with the click of a mouse. Retrieving answers about problems from the development team includes a great deal of other work including turn around time for communicating with the development team.
Think before you post or don't post at all.
The more you post the more i'm convinced your the alter-ego of PANN, created to post without any attachment.
Is your character 14 days old now?

Xenophobe much?
Oh no! Someone made a good point and I have no useful input of my own, so I will just point out that I have been in the game longer!
Oh, you're my hero.
This is especially funny since this thread has almost nothing to do with the EVE game itself, so in-game time is totally irrelevant. Every online game has GM support staff, most are understaffed, all suffer from the same whiney *****es moaning about how much they suck, etc., etc. I don't need to be an EVE veteran to know what I'm talking about here.
Thanks for playing though. Please pull through.

I think for one the GM's should address this problem. Its totally unfair to get killed before your client loads and also not to be able to even get to them without dieing. It might take alot of work but would make alot of their players happy. All you people flaming is silly. sylena was trying to make a point. and i for one agree that it should be addressed ASAP. I am also stuck floating in space in 0.0. I dont want to travel anywhere fearing when my client loads i will be in the cloning station Sorry but i worked damn hard for what i got and dont want to lose it to that.

Sylena nono's post wasn't even directed at you. He quoted me and responded. Pay attention to your own threads before you respond with "don't flame me flamer troller lol."

*sigh*
Go back and read nono's post. He wasn't flaming you, he was flaming me. I'm not sure why this wasn't clear by my first post.
"nono's post was directed at me" kind of says it all, doesn't it?

Veruna thinks your reactions were because of my post. Some people just can't get over themselves I guess.
Veruna I mearly tried to point out in very few words that you have been in this game at best 14 days and continuosly post as if the people that have been here since beta have no reason to complain. Maybe if you had experienced half the problems and knew that some of those problems have been around since beta you would be less condecending. At 14 days you have not experienced the frustration others that want this game to succeed have experienced. Your first week of arrival told everyone that posts their opinions to F*ck off and quit the game. I'd say you were frustrated although differently.

You are correct, I have been in EVE a little over two weeks now. However I have been playing and supporting multiplayer games for well over a decade.
So, though I may not be fully familiar with the ins-and-outs of the issues plaguing EVE itself, I am reasonably comfortable with what is involved in developing, maintaining and supporting a game of this size.
The fact is, people in these forums treat the support staff like so much dirt and it's totally inexcusable. Perhaps they're slow, perhaps they're not thorough, perhaps not all of them are "fair," perhaps many problems have been around for a long time; but the fact is people do the best they can with the available resources.
95% of the posts on this board having to do with the GMs, Polaris and CCP are *****ing or complaining. These are real people with real lives doing real jobs. They're not your lackeys running around trying to make EVE just the way you like it and *snap* *snap* real fast or you'll get ****ed and cancel your account!
Think about this; CCP needs to appoint players as Polaris members - how do they tell who is a good candidate? You ***** that Polaris isn't the best, but imagine what it takes to assemble a player-based GM staff. Do you expect CCP to do background checks? Hours of interviews on their own time while they should be working on EVE code (god forbid they take too long on the next patch, you'll get ****ed and cancel your account!)?
Ahh well, I could go on but my points fall on mostly deaf ears anyway. Most of the people on these forums treat CCP and the support staff like ****, and still expect gold from them in return.

If u read the first post. this adresses ur post alot. the post was about gm's respionding to major issues on the forums, and that would save them 1000's of petetions. Also it was stated this person had excellent customer support, but was just asking that these MAJOR issues be addressed on the forums\news faster , and that in turn would cut down on the petetions gm's recieve.

Well, my post was a more "in general" hijacking of the thread than it was a response to the original poster (who has since deleted all her posts anyway).

Why people need to be so agressive (and use improper language)
Edit : Found something more... I agree with Veruna Caseti...This must be the first time I agree with you, making a non-agressive post
