I know level 4's do, but anything atypical I need to be on the look out for as compared to level 2's ?

Yes, I've pretty much received everything except Large equipment designed for battleships.
Have you received money offers from agents requiring drugs? Most lvl 3 agents seem to be drug addicts.

Assuming I understood the question correctly, yes, there are warp scramblers in L3 missions but they're fairly rare.
The only ones I remember being scrambled in are Retribution and Angel Extravanganza (stage 5), but there are probably a couple more. I've never seen them in any L3 kill missions, only deadspace.

My friend got his Brutix scrambled to pieces in Gurista Spystash yesterday.

To add to that, get to know the typical web/scrambler craft for the enemy you are fighting, eg angel webifiers/vipers, guardian veterans, navy gamma support frigates, merc wingmen. Pop them first to give you the reassurance of a ready escape route.....

I've seen a scrambler on Spy Stash before, I think it was one of the Dire frigs.

All webbing frigs now have the ability to warp scramble yes, it is only a 25% chance but when you are doing a mission tha has a few of them always be ready and careful.

FYI - agents of all levels draw their offers from the same list. The offers you receive depend on your amount of LP.

I have even once been scrambled on Human Cattle level 2. Promptly lost my rifter there. :)

Tech Secrets Level 3/3 Warp Scrams as well, lost a Ferox to it last weekend.

The Named Bounty hunter in what comes around goes around mission can scramble, although I've only seen him do it once.

Damn, I've lost a caracal in the third pocket of The Uprising 3/4 level 2.
And my friend tried to tank in rupture for me - in The Uprising 4/4. Left with pod :)
