I have been trying since yesterday to subscribe via paypal without success, I fill in the form get to the pay button and get the message 'the recipient cannot recieve payments st this time' message! What's going on please?
I couldnt find anywhere to contact CCP outside of creating this alt account and using the forums, why is this? Why is it almost impossible to contact a real person at CCP outside of the game?

Yep, this is still not working unfortunately. Been like this for at least two weeks.
I've had several responses saying this would be fixed that day, so I think the next one I'll take with a grain of salt.
Would be interested in knowing what's going on though!

Would I be right to assume that credit card payments are working with CCP?
If so I have made an appointment with Nat West's local branch for the 1st of April, so lets say I order a mastercard and it arrives say a week later I should be able to play again in about a month maybe even sooner, super bl**dy dooper!
PS: good job I had a three day skill training eh?

You can always buy game time cards in the interim until it's fixed, theres a few sites on the net that sell them & take paypal for payment.

Hiya, yes I did look at the time card sellers but tbh none of them made it easy enough. Anyway, from this you'll gather my main character is back online (many thanks to GM Q for a no nonsense fix), and for anyone else that has a problem with Paypal I've been told it should be fixed by this weekend.
My main concern from all this confusion is the fact that I found out the hard way that if your out of the game it is just about impossible to contact a GM and CCP as a whole, you cant log into the forums if your account has expired and I could not find any email solution that wasn't an auto response, also ATM the in-game petition under 'other' has been disabled, so even if you create another account you cannot contact ccp under a general problems header, I had to cheat the petitions system I'm afraid to say to get a GM's attention to fix (temporarily) my subscription problems. Well there's just a few points for consideration for future customer relations execs ;) for now I am in the game again proper and no longer have the joys of running out of cap mid warp to the nearest stargate/belt
