Low and behold I jump into the next system and an istar appears on sensors. I eventually track him down, web/scramble, and tell drunk in his domi to jump into the system and join me. We eventually fight him down to structure at which point we cease fire and ask for a ransom. We recieve smacktalk, take him down to 1/2 structure and ask again. His reply is: "Never, I have insurance" ... ok then.

maGz	Posted - 2006.03.19 10:00:00 - [33] Well I guess the following thing could be regarded as a bit stupid: A few weeks back I had a 38 mil bounty on my head, a head full of implants (Full LG Slave-set, +5% Armor, +5% Damage etc.). I decided to set my autopilot for Jita and then AFK-travel assuming that Empire would be safe, even for half-arsed pirate like me. I did arrive safely to Jita, however me being very tired resulted in me falling asleep before arrival, resulting in me in my little shuttle sitting afk in space in one of the busiest systems in EVE. Next morning, I wake up to see my pod in station. I sat afk at Kisogo-gate in Jita for about 3 hours before a bunch on suicide-alts decided to claim my bounty along with the honour of podding a guy with implants worth 700+ million isk ______________________

Had been there a while so was getting kinda bored. Along comes a hauler with 25k zyd, few different basic implants, and some assault frigs inside - nothing hugely great but since I was bored figured what the heck. Boom Boom....first full volley, hauler is heavy into hull....bzzt...goes shield booster and hauler is back to full shields. Concord warps in and fires at me....pop goes my BS and a very luck hauler wanders away. Hrmm....musta been unlucky I figure...back to fit out a new BS after aggression timer expires. My Hauler passes me back what survived. 100mm plates? Guess who fitted 100mm plates instead of 1600mm...no wonder I thought Concord pop'd me kinda quick

"Cool lets head back" comes the call over when I seem to make a navigational mistake and jump in to the wrong system. Smack in to a hostile gatecamp. I sat there cloaked for a sec thinking "damn this system was clear three minutes ago." On realising Im in the wrong system I decloak and warp praying because I have no WCS. Shock horror. I've caught the camp napping and I got out. Went to a different gate and insta back through and OMW back to the right system. Couldn't belive their camp failed to pin down my Tempest and gank me. All this time I've had the rest of the gang yelling "WTF did you do that for" at me on vent and for some reason my transmit is screwed and I can't tell them ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I am Dyslexic of Borg. I move into place near the gate and sure enough the gate fires up and in comes the enemy manti pilot. So I now have 100% complete advantage here. I'm cloaked, 25kms away from one of the weakest ships in the game with 3 cruise launchers ready to make someone pretty sad. Two named sensor boosters and 2 dampners ready to lock and muffle him as soon as he de-cloaks. I de-cloak about half a second after he does and lock him with my guns all flashing ready to go.. the idea of getting a manti kill in my manti has given me the shakes! The lock completes... a half second passes and up comes a friendly little box saying "Commit dangerous act?". I scrabble about and hit YES as quick as I can. The box clears in time to see 3 pretty blue lights heading my way just as my own pretty blue lights head off towards him. A majestic moment passes where these lights intersect and all I'm thinking is "Please let mine hit first". As my ship blew into pieces I saw my own cruises fly off into space on their own merry little way. My explosion didn't even have the good grace to take out my T2 cloak. Just moved to 0.0? Disable that goddamn warning.

We went to a system we knew was frequently busy with mining ops, barges, t2 indys all that stuff.. We find a hulk (second one that day heh), so awesome i think - another jackpot. We warp in, get it scrambled, into structure etc ask for ransom, the asshat logs off. In my infinite wisdom i tell everyone to hold fire, and wait - ships don't dissapear aslong as they're scrambled right? no. So we wait for 15mins, then poof the ships gone, there goes our 200mill, Can't belive i never knew

A corp mate probably. Was doing the immensely boring task of sniping, very little amusement apart from occasionaly shooting some nubs corpse for the humerous squish sound (and wierd screenshake... because obviously shooting a corpse creates some sort of space eathquake ) So sent my alt account to Yulai in his little hauler to sell my loot and stolen ore. Lil Alt sells most of his crap to the closest bidder (No not highest... when drunk flying an extra 2 jumps just seems silly ) and happily buys my main a nice supply of cruiser / frig mods to keep me happy for the next month or so (About 300mill in tech II Turrets / reps etc etc) and happily gets placed on autopilot. Close to an hour a later in a system not that far away... Moi: Zomg hauler DIE1111!!!!! pew pew pew Booooommm pew pew pew Splat moi: ROFL, Nice loot ! yay... at this point had to think to myself how REALLY* familiar all this loot was looking ? Im sure id seen a hauler carrying the exact same stuff not so long ago... Yep Blew up and podded... umm myself ? Good game me Alliaanna Yeah my alt was set to +10 to corp as well... Especially this one guy in an intercepter i kept beating down. Avoiding several multiple battleship attempts, sometimes i even stuck around and fired a few rounds at the battleships just to **** em off cause they couldn't touch me :-). Well apparently i sent a few too many messages to taht guy in the ceptor. I pretty much gave away EVERY single detail about my caracal to him. He came back with his own caracal, and a fitting specifically designed just to break my tank. . . He roasted my ship :-(, with 2 warp scramblers, and probebly incindiary/EM missiles for my shields :-(. BOOOM, #@$$@#. Wasn't insured either.

Anyways This caracal in a complex and i warp in and attack him he warps to gate i chase after and kill him at the gate then warp off mind you i have no tank but invul :D. Anyways so now im like well i can take da cruiser @ the gate or thinkin. So go into another system and attack another caracal he warps to gate i chase after attack him there but :D i forget to warp out and pop LOL it was like 3am my brain cells where dead and the boozors didnt help

Come back to my PC and I'm on 1/2 hull and every ship in the deadspace is attacking me. Really shoulda checked that the building wasn't the mission target I guess.

Seeing the ship was only held together with my constant skillful tinkering, I mentally reminded myself 'remember not to eject or it blows', and crawled to pick my hard earned loot. There were plenty of nice modules, but alas, had no loot can deployed in this system yet. Just an old Gallente Exequror hauling cruiser parked in deep space. So off I warp, jettisoning my spoils next to the cruiser, boarding it and scooping the items. And bummer; my loyal Megathron refused entry back; systems were too damaged. She just stood silently in space, fully repaired armor shining, but no functional structure at all. After a while of pondering, had no options but to send my drones after her; she shattered instantly from the first hit. At least got to loot myself, and the pleasure of telling my ex-adversary that I just had had my first draw in a duel. -Lasse

I was in a trading last year and it was a small 4 man corp with good trust in all the members as it was so small so the CEO would lend me ISK all the time on the premise that I pay back the full loan + 50% of profits made with the use of the corp isk. I was fine with this as I was only a couple months old and couldn't afford half the deals I was doing without his help. Well one weekend he's gone and i have this killer deal. Back when Gallente Navy Comets were around the 80mil mark, I was getting 2 @ 90mil. But I already had my personal isk tied up in another deal. I found a buyer already for the 2 ships @ 80mil each. The problem came about when i realized my CEO was gone for the weekend. I thought to myself how can I claim this escrow before it drops off escrow and I lose this great money making opportunity? I know! I'll set an item on the market in the system I'm in with my alt for 90mil, and then claim it with my main using the Corp Wallet and then I'll have 90 mil on my alt i can xfer back to claim this escrow. Sheer genious Keld, nice going m8. So i proceed to set up said plan, and I claim the item @ 90mil using corp wallet. Log my alt, and have a few meesely K worth of isk in my acct. WHERE DID THE 90mil GO!? So I freak out. Turns out if you opt to buy a more expensive item in the station you are in it rewards you with the cheapest item and gives the price you concented to pay (90mil in my case) to the person with the cheapest item. Hard lesson to learn. Owed my CEO 90mil and when your a few months old that's a decent enough amount. Took me a couple weeks to work off. As for a stupid PVP related story... which one should I tell? Maybe the one where our alliance was running a small empire op against ISS and we had found one of their home systems. We moved into position in the adjacent system with a small strike force. We setup position and an alliance mate who has been messing with them for a day or two volunteers to jump in and lure them to us. Great plan or so we thought. He jumps in with his raven, warps to the station at range, spots a few of them, warps back to the gate using an insta and waits. Next thing you know a small gang of them apppears on the gate. He says ok guys there are only like 4 BS or so. No problem I thought as I've tanked 4 ISS BS before in my domi and with a small gang this should go swimmingly. So he jumps back into us and we wait. Gate goes active ok here it is... all of a sudden 6-8 BS uncloak with some T1 cruiser support (thorax etc). Wow fantastic... so we primary the scorp and then the gang leader yells warp, well of course me in a domi with a 1600mm plate i'm a little slow to get up to speed and by the time a few of us had jumped they knew what we were doing an dlocked me down. Well i pop but thankfully that GENIOUS scout in the raven survived :) Would have been tragic if such a great scout as that raven pilot lost his ship as well. I've learned that idiots are sometimes like drunk drivers.. when there is an accident they usually walk away fine and your left wondering what the hell just happened? Same thing happened to me in my Raven recently. Gang op down in curse region, we jump in, see a few BS at range, and 1 (ONE) Tackler. Gang leader yells align and safespot. Ok fantastic... and instead of waiting to see that my slow ass raven aligns they all warp out (including a plated Scorp) and leave my a$$ to roast. Another fine example of leadership abilities. OMG 1 tackler, jesus he could lock us all down with his omnidirectional warp inhibitors... no wait... he can't... and we have a 7-8 man fleet that coulda popped him in 30 secs or less and a scorp who coulda just run 1 cycle on him and we all coulda left. Ugh...
