I had some questions about criminal activity in eve.
I noticed that in order to scam and defraud people some pirates have been telling people that they are the Real TonyC.
I am the real TonyC Lead singer of TonyC and the jets. Yet people have gone as far as to make fake websites, youtubes, eve accounts and steam groups.
What can I do as a legitimate user in eve online to prevent pirates and other criminal scum from pretending to be me and scamming people in eve out of their hard earned isk?
Currently some Fat kid I know named kid_dj 2005 has been making all kinds of fake tonyC stuff and has been trying to discredit me as the real tonyC and I have been worried that I might lose clients in eve because of this. |

I think you are all missing the point of this name.
Tony C is one of the single most common Italian names. The Lead singer of the Band is Named Tony and his last name starts with a C.
The Jets refers to the singers in the band who often wear jet packs when they play halo reach. The band itself is about Halo Reach and other really good video games.

Well, it is true that a meme can exist within a small group of people. However, this begs the question, "Why would you assume that random people on the interweb will know what you're talking about?" Is it not therefore more logical to assume that people will have no idea what you're talking about? I am very sure you're the same person who came to VFK the other day because you're using the same circular logic in an attempt to make yourself look smarter. "See, you're proving my argument for me!" is a form of escapism and an invalid form of debate.
You're a pseudo-intellectual like the majority of the furies on the SA forums. This is evident in you're posting style.

I never asked what a pubbie was. I asked if YOU knew what a pubbie was. And it turned out you did not. Like most goons you just parrot what you hear the other goons say. Pubbie does not apply to subscription based games. There are no Eve Pubs/cafes.
