Sent my defective Fruit pad back for a full refund, and have been looking for which tablets can run eve online. Has anyone had any success with tablets yet, or is it still better to just buy a laptop for mobile eve play?
For example the Asus t100 work?
Would like to say the razor edge is a little out of my price limit. Dont just think outside the box, Live outside of it... |

Quote: All hardware regardless of platform must support the following minimum requirements:
CPU that supports SSE2 GPU with 256 MB VRAM or more that supports Shader Model 3 that supports DirectX 9.0c Drivers: DirectX 9.0c (included) Audio that supports SSE that is Direct Sound compatible HD: 20 GB free space (or more) Network: ADSL connection (or faster) DVD-ROM: 2x-speed DVD reader (for boxed editions only)
I'm guessing that rules the T100 out but not sure. I'd love a tablet client for eve, even if only to update skills and market orders. |

if its technically a surface pro and has full windows 8.1 on it, it should be able to run eve... run eve well?!? that's another question. |

If you consider the surface pro 2 to be a tablet then maybe.
Here is a guy that had eve on the original surface pro.

the problem is the shader 3.0 stuff but everything better than an Intel HD3000 has this feature so there should be no problem at all... for station stuff.
Has anyone an idea on the minimum specs needed for flying around? And what is needed to shoot stuff? 97% of girls would die if Justin Bieber were about to jump off a cliff. Post this in your sig if you`re part of the 3% yelling,

My ultrabook (Sony Vaio Pro) with a HD4400 is certainly good enough to run eve at 1080p with average settings and decent framerate. Definitely will be completely fine in combat as long as you stay away from those awful gas clouds that make any computer cry; may want to reduce settings to low if you want great framerate in PVP but other than that it's pretty solid. Did a surprisingly good job of running a carrier account in the massive battles over the past few months, no crashes/graphics bugs at all. |

Surface pro will work as well. I will logon with it and tool around in ships. I have not tried missioning in it. But it's sporting a quad core processor and has good graphics so I don't see where it would be an issue. It's just my level of comfort playing on a smaller screen. I have a friend who has this same tablet and runs multiple eve clients on it with no problem. |
