ok short and simple,
returned to my old agent to do a few missions, its been about 5 months since i last did any missions for her,
i did have in the region of 160,000 loyalty points with this agent but since returning and doing my first mission today my total loyalty points is only 6500 ish` from the mission i have completed,
now i have tried to send in a petition about this but i keep getting a url error when i post it, so i figured i would ask here to see if anyone else has had this problem,

Loyalty points get deleted if you dont use your agent for some time, its been like this for a while.

ok with this reply im having a bad feeling now
but where the hell does it tell you about any time period for agent lp`s? and if my time period has run out i think thats an absolute disgrace that your lp`s get reset, so many different areas of the game to experience why do you get `punished` for not doing agent missions for a few months?
are you just meant to do 1 thing and 1 thing only in eve,
removing loyalty points if that is the case is bu11sh1t, what point does it serve? apart from p1ssing off the customer when it hits you out of the blue?

Hmm, this happend to me also, some 50k LPs disapered?
I didn't know that it can happen, either I would do a missione here and there.

i share your pain :) im missing 160k of them, now if i remember back it was about 2 months of doing missions for me and my time i get to play eve, so its not a small hit to my wallet, its 2 month of gaming down the drain, the isk didnt interest me, it was the lp`s i was saving in order to get a fleet tempest at some stage,
thats why this is hard to swallow, yeah im ranting about it, i have a very good right to do so, im fuming about it
no documentation that states about lp decay from what i can see in the player guide

I disagree, I was gone for a whole year (just returned in the last month or two) and all the LP's I had with my lvl 4 agent were intact (~300K LP's).

praise be, now thats what i like to hear, if thats the case then your period away makes my 5 months seem insignificant, i have my faith restored and as soon as i dont get a url error with my petitions im going to stick one in about it.

That's not to say these other folks aren't right about that being the rule. If I left before the rule was implemented and you left after, I may have merely gotten the benefit of some grandfather clause. Good luck to you regardless. Also, did you freeze your account, or just not play (mine was frozen).

no i played as usual, just didnt do any missions, i simply left my agent to do various other aspects of eve, a bit of piracy, some 0.0 stuff etc.. so i was playing eve all the time
i would like to think if something as drastic as loosing all your lp`s was going to happen that you would at least get some form of warnign ingame, mails from your agent sayign you have 1 month, then 2 weeks, then a week etc.. just so you have plenty of time to head over and do a single missions to reset a timer is such a thing exists,
on the face of resoning i cant for the life of me see how a timer can be implemented if there is no documentation in the player guide and no ingame warning of such a timer

Agreed...an Eve-mail at the very least would be in order I think.
Also, CCP, if you're reading this, I can without question attest that if I had returned and my LP's were gone, I would have left the game as quickly as I had returned. Sounds like Dex might be near that as well if he doesn't get his LP's back, and perhaps others.

Same thing happened to me but i did a mission back in december. I fear it might have something to do with a agent moving to another star system, like mine did. Just found this out yesterday and I had about 150-160 k lp......this is indeed a totally idiotic thing to do.
What would it serve except ****ing of players that invested a hugh amount of time getting the sp.

dont want this to sound bad but im pleased in a way that im not the only one this has happened to,
hopefully a dev could comment in this and bring a little light to the subject once and for all,
maybe a forum mod count point someone in this direction

Loyalty points, running a different agent for a few months isnt loyatly. The agent has full right to whipe youre record clean imo .

you can do a petition from this website, just follow this link
that's what i did, cause i also have lost over 80k lp in the same way and was unable to petition ingame, still waiting for a reply 
just to let you know, this is a bug, not an intended feature, ccp aren't even much aware of the problem, the only thing to do is to petition, once they get loads of petitions about this, they will see that something is wrong

Happened to me too. All the LP from 4 old lev 3 agents (2 Lai Dai at one station and 2 Caldari Provisions at another) are gone. All my others seem to be intact.

ditto, ccp have sent me a reply, its a bug and all agent points will be given back witha fix in the future,
im happy with that
