Ms Freak	Posted - 2006.03.19 20:41:00 - [1] Ok, What's wrong with the server?? its borked - 2 minute 15 lag on ANYTHING at ALL?? ME + a mate almost got obliterated because we were in a level 4 mission and couldnt do anything... Whats going on?? IF (is say IF) there is a major fleet battle going on then... IM SORRY BUT I PAY TO PLAY THIS ********* GAME TOO!!!

However, given that there are far more people than just me expereincing this problem all over EVE it must be affecting at least 2 or more Nodes. Maybe they are just running a mofo of an SQL upgrade on the DB or something??

I was in adacyne with about 20-30 and no lag, and there were more users on. I think the closer it gets to Downtime the slower the server gets. It was around... 3 hours till downtime, we logged about 40m before downtime

Jenny Spitfire teaches Ms Freak, "EvE Cluster 101". There are 70 servers tied as a cluster servicing 5000+ solar systems. When one node pops, 80+ solar systems will also pop with it. Well, say we had done this before the server upgrade, you would not be playing eve at all. any sort of 10v10 battle at peak time would kill nodes. If you can't handle lag in an mmo, then your probably the same person thats shocked when you find out that your government can actually lie to you.

They should at least acknowledge the fact that there is something wrong. I canÆt find anything on the forums or the dev blog or anywhere on the site that they even know there is a problem. CCP please tell us what you are doing to fix this, the game isnÆt playable anymore !
