Just saw a new ad for eve on IGN.com with video and link to 14 day trial. Very cool ad and cool to see EvE still being advertised on such a large and popular site

I've seen some good ads for Eve on some of the web comics I read. Penny Arcade in particular, the site that brought me here originally.

The guys at PA actually addressed that. Most ads on their site they hand pick - its not just open to the highest bidder, and they have a soft spot for the smaller up and growing development companies, especially anything online related.
That ad in particular has been around for several months in many incarnations. I've forgotten what the old one looked like (from MMORPG.COM and others).
Also, EVE is still on the front page of microsoft.directx.com! Jez, what did they do to have that up for what, 2 years now?
