This deployable unit would have been a really nice addition to use, it needs a long anchoring time before the shield can come up though. It also needs to get fuel, like the tower.

no - they are basically ******* great ships with the POS ship hangar and POS corp hangar built in.
edit: I will admit that I'm not sure how the hell the jump clones will work - you probably get placed into a pod next to the ship itself.

If this module is setup close to station or any empire guns, they will fire, but setup in mid space between 2 gates or something would make it really nice... But it would need a long anchoring time to avoid anybody setting it up while being hunted.
Asking for the ability to create safety in 0.0 is contrary to the spirit of where you are.
