Flying a Pilgrim running about picking on prey then i get blobbed im trying to scoop me drones but there annoyingly stupid stayin outa my scoop range, i cannot stop to scoop them as im aligned and ready to warp, to get em t'scoop ive literally got to stop and approach them! I feel like im there drone
This Really annoying problem im sure can be fixed by extending the scoop range, ok i know jack about how this game is put t'gether but i really cant see why that cant solve it?
There are other issues aswell im sure Carebear mission runners will tell you.
Tux Oveur can you put down your Rubix cube for 5mins and just slip in a extra zero on that scoop range or summin

Yes they're still kind of buggy, although their target management has clearly been improved.
What still happens a lot:
- forgetting about MWD'ing when returning to drone bay (though not when returning to orbit). - freeze 1501 meters away when ordered to return to drone bay.
Happens sometimes: - attack a target, say, 67kms away and when the target exits max range, they keep on attacking. When asked to return/switch target they simply do not respond anymore. Any way to prevent them from doing so? Like stopping their attack when they enter max range?

Yea, they stay precisely at 1550km lol. As if they didn't want to go back into the bay.

Mmmm how about when they randomly decide to attack your gang mates? How about when they decide to do this mid-battle?
Fun times for all...

the most annoying is to loose t2 drones, because they stay at 1507 meters away from u :(((((

Always works ok if you do Return And Orbit, and Scoop To Dronebay so use that until it's fixed

Not always. Often they don't orbit close enough.

The drone bugs really p****d me off last night.
I was in a mixed gang fight in the Domi. One moment I was engaging AF's in a belt using T2 Lights, but had to warp out leaving the drones behind after they stopped 1505m from my ship.
Okay, quite annoying, but what happened next *really* annoyed me... I engaged another group of hostiles and attempted to deploy the heavies. Nothing. They would not undock from the drone bay - because apparently I was already controlling 5 drones in distance space!
So there I was, nossing this Megathron, with no DPS whatsoever. I was unable to dock due to the aggression timer, and was basically a sitting duck. I escaped with my ship but only after looking incredibly stupid (the Mega pilot must have wondered what the hell I was doing).
FFS, sort out drones and do it soon. Until that happens I'm at a huge disadvantage using my Domi in PvP which is kind of annoying when you have spend a long time training to use that ship to its best.

Yep drones are still ****ed up. I have also had the same problems as listed above. I see they also still happily hump away too. I put 5 T2 lights on an intercepter and 3 of them were all over him. The other two were just flying along way behind him trying to make babies. I have also been having problems with sorting my drones. I sort them in folders and every time I relog there is 1 drone in the folder and the rest are just lose in the drone bay. Really annoying if you forget to redo your folders every time you log in and then get in a fight and have to launch them all one at a time. No one can hear you scream in space, so STFU and die already. |

Problems Fixed: 1. Drones use their microwarp drives when they are supose to. So far for e i havnt had them screw up. 2. Drones aggroing targets that are not targets or are not agressed. Thanks god they fixed this one. 3. Drones seem to repond better and attack targeted targets for the most part together. I ahve them split off and go after diffrent targets sometiems but forthe most part the work as a team.
Problems not Fixed: 1. Returning to drone bay. While my heavies always return to the drone bay, my medium always either return or come within scooping range, it is the lights that never return to the drone bay or come within scoop range. I can only assume this is an issue with the player givin command (return to drone bay or return and orbit) as after killing all the aggressed target the come back and orbit my ship jsut fine with no problems.
