For years players have struggled to reconcile how slow Eves development is against the Devs claims to be working hard. Finally CCP Foxfour explains that CCP Devs do work very hard and demonstrates why it takes so long to produce features

CCP for some crazy Icelandic reason decided using their hands to type was too easy, they now try to code with their faces. Can we please all get back to shooting the statue until they agree to type with their hands again.
This could also explain why CCP is in such a poor financial state. We have all been blaming Dust and WoD development. It turns out the cost of replacing keyboards after being smashed by employee heads is driving the company under.

Dude. Typing with your hands is for wusses. Hardcore devs always type with their faces. Sometimes whilst punching themselves in the crotch.
CCP, debuff Barges, or buff Ganking. Either will do for me, but we need more Yaaar! in this game lest it become WoW in Spaaaaace!

Its seems as if half the posters on this forum use their face to type, so why not use the same tactic in the coding and development process?

I smash my head against the keyboard when I write forum posts (and code) too, and I'm pretty fast. I use a mechanical keyboard though. Maybe Foxfour should look into that! More expensive to replace, but far more work done.

Hm, I wonder if falcon would be willing to explain to me the finer points of this technique. It sounds useful for my work. I tried it for two minutes, but my program keeps giving me compile time errors about semi colons not being present at the end of the line. Perhaps I should switch to whitespace?

And here I was thinking all this time that while the devs were mostly in the break room using the copy machine to scan their butts, cats were actually in the studio jumping all over the keyboards pouncing out all the current code. Generate random pixel darting across the screen, place keyboard front of monitor, add kitty, wait for work day clock to tick down for job well done. |
