Does the notepad have a character or word limit per note?
I ask as I recently used the notepad to record my calculations for POS fueling and cost thereof, needless to say it ran to quite a long note.
Now, when I go back to consult my figures.... over half of it is missing, it literally cuts off mid-line. Although, it has kept the last few characters from the end of the note.
Has anyone else noticed this or had a similar circumstance happen to them?
Edit, also to add insult to injury , it deleted all my formatting, I spent ages getting all the numbers to line up , and making the calculatins readable, the only formatting it kept was the colouring

I don't trust the damned thing.
TxT files on the desktop for me. Or excel spredsheets if needed.

Same for me, I dont trust it anymore after it completely wiped a big long note of all my ship setups.
All it takes is a dodgy link to a character in chat and bang, your last accessed not is gone. Learnt that one the hard way.

I have lost my trade notes too, first it refused to save changes (they were there only until I restarted client, then all edits were reverted) and then my note disappeared completly. Thanks god I had copy in evemail sent to my alt, 6 months of trading data....
Eve notepad is bugged and cant be trusted.

Yup, just lost a note about stuff I'd just price checked across several regions.... most unhappy to lose all of the second column (all the prices and locales of prices) and some of the list of items itself. Took ages to format too.
What the notepad needs is an indicator that it has autosaved correctly, and whether it has been modified since the last autosave.

I shall plug ATnotes, simple systray post-it style notes program dump post-it notes of all sizes and colours all over the place, hide them minimise them shrink them, store them in memory heck you can even export the database of them, includes search features and timers and alarms very small very effective and will sit over the top of eve (in windowed mode when using shiftwindow)

Same here
Noticed many times that some notes disappear after a while. The note title is still there, but when you open it, it's empty inside.

Mine had so far behaved, but the other day it erased a big list of numbers i had calculated... NONE of the other notes were gone, only the one that took the longest to write
