i personnaly think it has something to do with the fear for a nerf, i think actually 80% sees the sarcasm but just doesnt want to take the risk to play along and might get nerfed...
i mean look @ lasers, like tachyon boost aint a joke..with people screaming that em and therm is worst dmg. lasers are the best weapons.
Em/therm rips shields fine, this has only gotten better with invun hardeners, because people fit those and less EM hardeners.
because hull is fragile the most dmg/sec takes it down the fastest, with dmg controls you get the same resistance on all resistance. lasers deal most dmg/sec so they are king on this too.
if i would ask regular pvp folks what they would fit if they could fit 3X hardener for a armortank. i dont have to guess which they will fit (explo,kin,therm) , actually making EM best dmg. why do i get hit with EM missiles so often, sure because they suck sooo much..

and with regards to EM/therm being the worst damage vs armour, on a tanked ship (3 active hardeners) the difference between the lowest resist and highest resist is about 10%, in which case being able to do a crapload more damage is far better than being able to target the lowest 2 resistances and do 1/2 the damage of tachs.

But you're forgetting we live in the modern world of excessive 1600mm Rolled Tungsten usage. Hence, lasers are the worst to use against plated armor.
Although since no hardeners are in use, the lasers will rip the shields a new one.

especially when you dock your passive hardner test raven to swap back to invuln IIs, and then forget you changed them to actives as you target an apoc 2 jumps away  /shield downs in less than a minute...

Nerffing projectile ROF would fix the problem with small clips since 23h would not be long enough to shoot whole ~10 rounds

Don't you hate it when you hope in your Rifter, Muninn ot tempest, and have those uncontrollable sneezing fits? Even my pods internal scrubbers can't get all that powder out.
And like others have said, please nerf Artilleries and autocannons more, They are too overpowered with wtfbbqpwnage. More nerfs for the minmatars, since eve is turning into everyone fly a minmatar ship online.

That statement is really only true for Frigates and Gank-fitted Cruisers, and only really noticable against Minmatar. Small ships often fit a single 400/800/1600 RT Plate + AR and no resistance enhancements. With bigger ships EM is often tied for lowest resist.
The true enemy of small Amarr ships is the fitting requirments, not the damage type they do. EM gets a bad rap imho.
