Has nobody else noticed that there is no Gallente mobile refinery ?
I noticed this LONG ago using the database browser thingy and this thread just confirms it.
Is CCP anti Gallente or something ? No mobile refinery, lowest damage for their guns, worst lvl 2 battleship just to name a few things... ------------------------------------------------ CCP please fix your patch so I can play with my corpmates again soon. |

ehhhh? The Megathron gets +5% to damage and tracking, much better than the +5% to hybrid range Caldari gets. With the upcoming boost the Mega gets, you're blind if you don't see it's way better than the Raven. However, the Scorpion is a good ship...
And as for Gallente refinery, I pretty sure there will be one...

probably only has to do with the model type, like stations. I don't imagine their stats will be different.

Oh, well. I looked again at the SS and their stats are different. ;x
Still not that big of a deal to me, they seem to vary by the amounts of ore they can hold/process, and their cargo volume. The ones that hold less take up less space, etc.

Hehe, you posted before me Badiron, and look, you get all the fame :)
Serves me right for being slow, I suppose. And if anyone was wondering that that little ship reticle is in the middle of those torps... it was me in a Tristan seconds before every single one of those Torpedos went off after a accidental collision... needless to say it was the coolest explosion ever :D
Oh, and the refineries are cool too.

Beyond the guns and beyond the defensive sheild of the facility and the warp scamble should lay the GUN! The gun of eternal doom and destruction.
Remember a LONG time ago in a galaxy FAR FAR away (actually the old forums) when Hellgremlin (remember that guy...pity he aight around in that form anymore) and co post up that cool long story of that battle beyween EC and Das Paragon (I think) with the huge railgun which would be a facility in its self.
5000 hitpoints with a reload time of 5 mins lol...well something like that. Balancing is the key

Hey BadIron, where you find those refinerys on Chaos i fly over 5 different regions ( maine once) no where can be found on market.? where you see them give some intell , also i chek skills on sale there no skill cloaking on sale atlest not in Ammar space.on Chaos right now...? Diplomacy it art of saing "good dogy" until you can find a big rock. |

Well, there is a hint that the Gallente will be invaded by some kind of parasite life form.

The Sentry guns players put down must be exactly the same to the NPC sentry guns, but as such, carry a higher manufacturing cost.

Sentry guns, power/shield generators, field repair mini-stations, mobile refineries. We are still working out the last tidbits of how they can be over taken, what is the penalty of having a sentry gun kill a n00b etc. and we have been a bit busy with plugging the holes that people have found.I would say that you'd start to see these items on the market in about 2-3 weeks, very expensive to begin with |

Notice the Amarr gun does 98 damage total and the Guardian does 36. Also notice the 4800/7200/7200 shield/armor/hull on the Amarr gun and 800/600/2500 on the Guardian. Sensor strength is 14/14/14/14 vs 1/1/1/1.

No no no, you misinterpreted what I said. I am saying that the sentry guns NEED to be like the NPC guns to have any effectiveness what so ever, and since they will be so powerful, they need to have very high manufacturing costs.
And while we are at it, they should use ammo and have to be refilled every once and a while.

I VOTE that the corp skill req be repleased with MECH lvl4 or so!!
its not right... and shouldnt be there!!
i would say you need to konw gun skill for puting sentry skills and for sure its an engineer's job as well as knowing elec 
I hope they change it cause the corp req is so stupid support Idea: QuickInfo an alternative to ShowInfo

I hope when they reach the live servers they require level 5 skills (even if it's just one and the rest are 4s). Currently there are only a handful of specialisations that are happening due to reaching level 5 exist - and new tech and skills would be a good way to bring more in.
