whats the best in your own opinions the 2 best Duoing cruisers for belt piracy.
Also what will be a good one to have with a thorax.( thats what I mostly would be in or a Vexor.
I was thinking of a thorax and a Blackbird? thats pretty good?

since your cruiser would be there for damage, whilst the frigate would be a pure tackler look for something with as many mid-slots as you can find, and a fair turn of speed.
once the frig's thrown on a jammer/disruptor/webber and gained a high traversal orbit, it'll probably be the primary for the ship it's engaging so a tank would be useful, but it's less important than speed/ewar.
imo, obviously. I fly vengeances becasue they look cool, so wtf do i know?
EDIT: err, i misread that whole post. yeah, a blackbird would be ok.
no skills, just luck.

Blackbird and something doing lots of damage. Thorax, Rupture, Omen, etc.

yep. Great idea right there, Thorax and Blackbird. I would be more inclined to use a Maller as it has a bigger damage output (espec. with heatsink II's), and the Blackbird for EW.

Vexor or Arbitor
both have EW and damage capabilites the other cruisers can just dream off.

2*Multi spec jammers
1*disruptor
2/3 stabs
2/3 Gyro II
Insane alpha strike, you got ew and you can run like a litle girl if somthing goes wrong. What more could one wish for

Useful mods in your low slots instead of stabs.
Also, autocannons.
Edit: oh yeah, and mid slot mods that don't take the fun out of pvp (jamming ftl).
In short: Cry me a river, build a bridge, and get over it.

Assuming you're not going to jam or dampen, Caracal and Vexor. The Vexor tackles and tanks, the Caracal shreds.
If you want to dampen, anything and a Celestis

2x Ruppie with Artillery set for 20km and EW variety is good fun.
You've got lght drones, ew, missiles, and turrets. You should be able to take on a wide variety of targets that have one or fewer stabs. Escape if things turn sour is easy b/c inties can't stay on the team provided no one abandons the other, though you're likely to lose your drones in a tight spot.
Just tank lightly.
