Nobody there would waste ISK on sending mercs into your territory as only a moron would think that would remove your zerg fleets from here.
You are doing a great job teaching some of our slower miners and ratters about watching local, though.

Even if your right and they are talking BS, what are you or anyone else going to do about it?
We will likely:
(i) lose more ships than we kill to E-R well organised gank squads;
(ii) largely ignore their presence and continue to rat/mine in areas more than a few jumps removed from their present location;
(iii) possibly get some large blobs up to chase them with for a bit until we/they get bored;

Lol and the funny thing is, its probably true. Would be priceless seeting up another outpost under our enemies noses

Im thinking E-Rs gonna get a hell of a lot of kills..

I've had the privelege of flying with E-R lots of times in the past against ASCN. Kill to loss ratio against ASCN was very good then. The E-R guys have only gotten better and more experienced. I can't wait to see E-R's killboard.

As for letting go of the past, there's a saying in one of my favorite movies ("Underground" by Emir Kusturica), it goes like this: "I can forgive but i can't forget"
Of course forgiveness by one side goes hand in hand with an apology by the other one
In any case, i think they do infact have a contract. They didn't need any excuses in the past to kill ASCN so why start using them now?
It IS funny though, because they are getting paid to do what's one of their favorite passtimes. Back in the days there was a lot of bad blood indeed, now hunting ASCN is just like a hobby.
Last time i was down there myself it was a lot of fun, hunting in the "land of hostile blobs"
a) forces you to be careful about your choices: "Expensive ships first"
b) requires some discretion: "Can we kill this one fast enough with our gang of 5? they have 20 more people in local."
c) makes for some nice adrenaline rush: "OH SH*T! Here comes the hostile fleet of 100,RUUUUN!!!"

Yarrrr and stuff should be fun only seen one guy myself so far and he didn't want to try my Ishkur but then I don't blame him as he was in a Taranis. Hopefully should be more fun to come .
