They kind of are doing it voluntary. No normal company that I know of has by law the ability to force CCP employees to go to work on weekend days. The Employees can refuse weekend duty.

PS. @paid or not, I am a firm believer that even if people do get paid for their job, a thank you will benefit tremendously. Just reflecting on my own doings, hardly anyone says thank you to me when things are running smoothly, but if things go wrong they are not slow to complain... Hence, a thank you, even when things are not optimal is something that always made me feel appreciated.

If you are "on-call" you work anytime during your time frame. If you are part of a "response team" you are subject to working any day, any time. You reallty do not have much real world experience do you? And the correct phrase is "they get 'PAID' for it." What "law" is this that you speak of? Please provide specifics as to this. Any understanding of labor law?
CCP provides a great service, albeit a little late and in response to closed threads, but a great service.
