That said he never went out and admitted that all he wanted to do was harass high sec players. This brings me to part three of his 'How the new order will achieve victory' blog where he's all but admitted that all he wants to do is harass high sec players until CCP alters high sec to his liking or they all quit. (see the quote: 'Even the most stubborn carebear will learn. It's one thing to be ganked once, or twice, or even three times. It's quite another to be ganked over and over again, week after week, month after month, year after year. In time, they either follow the Code, leave highsec, or quit EVE forever. I prefer the first option, but I'll take any of the three.') How long till CCP realise that James' 10 million isk 'fee' was just exploiting the rules so he can harass in freedom? I would like to hear from an actual dev on this.

You might have more credibility if you were posting on a character that was more than a day old. 10M isk or risk bump/gank is an oft repeated phrase in PM where most of the NO conversations take place, primarily because local is pretty much ignored by everybody; as evidenced by the lack of response from miners when multiple characters with negative sec status, and the red tags that go with it, enter system in a gaggle of gankships.

I think you got that wrong. I don't think there is anything inherently wrong with mining. What's wrong is the AFK players, who find mining the easiest way to AFK. The AFK players put suspicion on all miners, hence the need for a Code that requires miners to be at their keyboard while mining. The same is true of the use of autopilot. It's just as bad as a way to AFK the game and not play at all - and is also equally targeted by gankers under the Code. The lack of play is what James is trying to correct, not mining per se.
