good idea...only prob is that all kinds of missles would need a tag stating:
"this is Not a Run-to-u-selfdestruct-causing-****loads-of-damage-drone this is just a guided torpedo/missle/rocket. it just works Exactly the same way but it is Not a drone"

Uh, this can be used against missile boats as well.. so no point in saying that anti rail/lasers drones exist.

It would be nice to have a viable anti-missile defence.
Its easy enough to beat a turret ships tracking, or to get it to loose accuracy in its falloff range. Missiles have flat DPS all the way out and its mean
Even if you do have defenders mounted, and they are at the right range to actually do anything, you still have to reload and fire them off at the right time to have any effect. A point defence drone would be very nice. Even if it takes up 50m/3, if it reduces missile damage until its destroyed it would be great.

Heck, theres already a Drone for just about everything else.

We just need an AEGIS-style T2 ship. Have them use special anti missile defense, it it turrets or other missiles, and make it unique like the interdictor, and not your standard high resists pounder like AF/HAC/CBC...
