Can we get a definition of what is considered an innocent player?
And when will "innocent players" be able to attack and kill "wanted" players anywhere?
Weird how someone is wanted and he can fly unhindered past CONCORD police ...?
Eve law is getting like UK law, protecting criminals. Which is BS of cause! |

When the "in-development" criminal flag system comes in things will be a lot clearer.
How innocent you are depends on where you are as well as who you have offended. I'm too unclear on whatever "wanted" is to give any comment on how they could fly past the concord police.
Just to reiterate, player specified bounties are not approved by concord and concord does not attack people just because some arbitrary other person placed some money on their head. -- Richard CCP Programmer. Anything said above is not the official line, but my own take or opinion. |

Is an innocent player someone with 0.0 or better security status? Is it ok to pod kill someone that has -0.1 security status, since they are wanted by CONCORD? If we are able to pod kill PC Pirates in 0.0 space with no security hit ourselves, what does that rating have to be?
Need to know because me and my corp hunt pirates and yes, we do sometimes pod kill them depending on how much of a nuiscance they have been the area. I would like to know if we are going to be a band of negative security rating PC hunters in the future.

"innocent player" is an ambiguous term, I will not refer to it anymore. -0.1 security status does not mean wanted by concord, it just means you're a shady character I guess.
However, you do not get security status penalties for attacking outlaws (they are people with -5.0 security status or less).
Currently in non-empire space you do not get penalties for pod-killing but I believe thats going to change in the next patch. -- Richard CCP Programmer. Anything said above is not the official line, but my own take or opinion. |

Yes Richard, I hope that does change. Because pod-killing is a serious crime, and should be logged as such, even in 0.0 space. None of this +9.9 security status pirates business anymore.
