I don't know why but personally, I like fighting Sanguine Legion. I don't care if they are alts or not. They fight well despite being young characters and they fight like real pirates and they are very RPish based on my interactions so far. At my game age, I need something more in EVE to keep me interested. I'm making my own alt that is a frigate and destroyer specialist based on inspiration from Sanguine legion because flying nothing but frigates with some cruiser support has got to be a huge amount of fun. With this character, I'd lose 17M if I got podded. It just isn't worth it except if using an alt with fewer skill points.

Thanks Derran. We had some excellent fights so far.
Also, wheren't you the guy with the Carrier about a week ago?
That would be me. And it was also me in the Cerberus last weekend as well.
And I have to say based on what I have seen so far, Sanguine sure are not performing like experienced pirate pilots. Yet. Knowledgable, yes, but the tactics need work when taking on the bigger threats.

Originally by: Azuriel Derran, you are the cerb pilot that made it out with 5% hull? Ughh :P I hate you
That would be me. Blame your pilots and the warp core stabilizers I used on that 250M overpriced ship for my escape. They shouldn't have been so eager to go after a Typhoon and stopped tackling me when the Cerberus was nearly dead. As a result, your group lost another 7 ships because of that mistake when we rooted your group out and brought them down.

It was. But a Cerberus has crappy structure and it wouldn't have lasted much longer. As it was, I think a few of your guys ran nearly right away. If they had stayed, I probably would have lost the Cerberus. Scared of the big boys? Or just the FoF lights?

There was some confusion initially. As you were at roughly 60-70 km away from us, some wanted to try and do a quick in-and-out warp to see if we could land closer to you, and some wanted to charge right into it. As far as I know, all people in our gang did engage when the order was given.
I did that on purpose. Then got bored when I saw you guys not doing anything and barely even coming towards me so I said screw it and used my AB to charge in so you would finally attack. It seemed to scare you guys off as some of them warped away and didn't come back. I'd say 2 more Punishers or Incursus and I'd have lost the Cerberus. That is why I never figured Sanguine Legion to be alts. Most pirate groups don't even get into a little RP and tend to act faster instead of sitting there.

I much rather have our Raiders make mistakes now our clones and equipment are relatively cheap, then when we are the guys in the shiny expensive ships.
Don't lose the spirit of 'Raiding'. Raiding implies quick strikes. When you start getting into lots of cruisers/HACs/Battleships and you go from being raiders to being an assault force. Frigate sized vessels work much more effective in packs which is what you all operate in right now. If a couple of you had been in Assault frigates, we likely would have lost the Cerberus and the battleship. Some bombers definitely would have finished us off.
