This thread has been made to explain why I did what i did to the Corp known as "The Renegades"
First let me take you back about 2weeks or so i had first started playing this game. I had gotten my First frig
Being new to this game and not thinking i had forgotten to insure it
I found my self near Jita in a low sec zone i think it was mara but im not to sure about that. Someone warped in and began to shoot me after my ship had blown up i had looked up the Pilots info he had been part of "The renegades"corp.
Comming from a game were if you dont get the people back that do you wrong which is pretty much in every game but in this game not doing so people seem to find out and pretty much lable you as useless which pretty much makes it hard to find groups and such. Now comming from that and not really understanding E.v.E yet i set out to get my revange.
I then searched for different ways people have gotten vengeance on others. I came across a thread about a Corp called guiding hand social club and how they pretty much wiped a corp clean of all its gear/money.
Knowing that i would have no chance of fighting the people of The renegades this type of action was my only hope.
Thus Funk Masta was born.
I found my target corp shooting at each other testing out weapons and such and asked the person that was being shot at if he needed help. Knowing full well what they were doing i played my part in acting like a noob(which i am)
They took my bait and invited me into there corp.
Day Four in corp i had made a corp mail that was pretty much letting them know what kind of weapons i would be looking for later on in the game, call it my seed into the corp hanger
Day Nine in corp i had been acting like i was broke from me buying my mao i then asked if i could use some gear in the corp hanger(same gear i had made my mail about) but the leader seemed to be afk, a short time after i relized that i had full rights to the corp the Ceo then started to talk to me but i pretended to be afk as i took all that was worth anything in there only corp hanger.
All and all I would like to thank you for paying me back for that frig and giving me some spare money. I know this isnt a crippling blow do to the fact your corp was pretty broke when i comes to items. Now before you get all huffy and puffy you should be thanking me that i only took your gear cuz i know for a fact that i could have stayed and gained access to your corp wallet
Now i know that wfctheman(Ceo of corp) is tring to keep me in the corp so that he can pod me or whatever he was ranting on about but thats retarded and wont last (btw wfctheman you need to learn to not smack talk)
I will remain on this toon for the rest of my time here in eve so if you want to get me back ill be around
ops almost forgot what i had said to you guys before was me just rushing to put an answer together for taking ur stuff so no to the someone hired me..cant belive you guys would fall for that, who would hire a noob.Plus next tiem you go on one of your little gank/gate camping parties you should be more careful about who you attack never know if it will come to bite you in the ass later on.

One thing though... Make the next corp you join NOT an industrial one, I think they may well pay you a visit

its funny the only way the corp is fighting back is by adding more roles / removing them from my toon so that i cant leave its ok tho cuz i do feel like im being harassed by them doing this so im sure a dev will be helping me out soon with that problem
and yes this is my main. plz take note that im not going to be doing that anymore.

this is true it was no were near any amazing amount of money plus i have yet to sell it all but so far iv sold 4 items for around 400-500K each i still have a mess load of stuff to sell but im thinking of saving it for my own corp
Edit: i didnt really do it for the money i mean that came as a bonus i just wanted my revange for them killing me.

Btw, assigning you roles etc to keep you in corp, is an exploit. Petition it under 'Exploit' and they will get a nice little mail from a GM.

He took a bunch of NPC drop weapons, he left all the learning skill books, sheilds, starbase equip, implants, etc etc etc. Man your cool you got away with a cool 1mil worth of npc drops. OUCH! Wait hold on i already replaced them, haha. Wonder how much its gonna cost u to replace ur ship daily?

I think the point of this post was not to provoke you, but to let you know as far as he is concerned, he's satisfied he is paid back for his loses. Revenge is always risky, but I think he was wise not to take more than his dues.
It obviously did not make a massive dent in your funding, so consider that further harassment may be considered unwise in a GM's eyes.

if your going to corp theft, do it right. be sneaky and gfet yourself up to accountant, take all the money in the wallet AND every scrap of material in their corp hangers. but then again, I'm a sneaky bastage with too much time on my hands. and for those who know who this alt is, I have no intention of doing this to the corp I'm currently in or my next corp if I decide to leave. I enjoy working with you guys.

about not taking the good stuff im pretty sure i did. wfc just pretty much tryed to get alot of gear back into the corp to make it look like i hadnt done anything. Towards the implants there were non to be had. and hey i stole all the 150mm cannons along with all the med laser turrets 650mm cannons 720mm cannons smart bombs about 30k worth of ammo(got to love that ammo)and alot of other crap weapons. And a bunch of shield upgrades cargo expanders now towards not taking the skill books i did take those but i put them back seeign how they were stupid books like amarr frig and such
if this is wfctheman that i Quoted plz post on that toon im still a baby to this game and you have been in here for months
another note i was looking to see were you guys were in space and it seems like your moving away from me not closer.
total no. of items i took not including ammo was about 250+ on mods for a ship

I would like to thank everyone for there support in this matter the corp is now tring to make it seem like they had done nothing at all to me and just calling me a corp thief
reasons why there doing this is for the soul fact im not telling them any thing about who killed me..thats in the past i got my revange its over. im sure that when i do make my corp they will be going to war with me so in a few days im hoping to find a big brother type corp to help me out a bit.
Plz remember im not going to be doing this type of action again unless of course it has to do with them lmfao im sure if i tried i could get back into there corp but i dont feel thats needed as of yet.

Actualy he is lieing hardcore because we dont kill anyone but Pirates, we are anti pirate corp :). So all he is, is a corp theif, no one realy likes your kind funk, and only the scum of the game support you :).

hey thx for that, im not sure if they will go to war with me. It will be me and another person in my corp as soon as he/she returns to the game i might take you up on that offer on living down in low sec ill need to research that area and do some scouting first tho can never be to careful
also i will be free from this corp in about 2 more hours so as soon as that happens i can go play again with out them knowing were im at 24/7. Thx for the support all you fine players of EvE and thank you Gm's for hearing my case so soon good work all around.

i spend ages last night pretending to be a non-english speaking macro miner to gank an ascn guy out ratting. it all went horribly wrong when after finally scanning him down to a belt i warped in just as he warped out, and he pointed out ass frogs aren't conventional mining ships. busted.
he was such a nice guy, i couldn't bring myself to keep trying to gank him :(

All said and done it was an easy scam of a noobie corp with an inexperianced CEO.
I personally never agree with podding etc without any hope of gaining profit (altho the corp is a little gun ho sometimes and it does happen)
(Having podded someone myself only to see the convo come up in local nearly 5 mins after the fact - he wasn't blocking after all and missed out on a buisness arangement.. ).
Breakdown of consequences.
The CEO has learnt not to be so trusting and helpful.
Funk is a few million better off and the corp missing some low end loot.
Funk is also now tarred forever as a corp thief will likely never be fully trusted and will need to be careful/carebear to avoid retribution.
The young and new members of the corp (not that theres many older than a month) lost out due to not being able to use the corps stolen resources.
Eve community is even less trusting of noobs resulting in many more being treated undeservidly like dirt.
Overall negative all round.
Way to go noobie...

Hell! I have to agree with you on this. As a Noob to this game I am a little bit daunted by it all, and just knowing that I might have my ship blown to shreds in the first low sec zone I go to, is worrying to say the least. Though I do now know how important insurance is now.
As to the Funk being on the Corps hate list, I truely hope it comes to nothing and ends here.
If it was me I would lay low and stop with the prevoking comments. Though I still maintain that he deserved to get the cost of his ship back after an unprovoked attack, boasting is going to ask for trouble.
This is a noobs opinion so not worth much, and I meant no offence  . Fun is the name of this game, but needless attacking and revenge makes for BAD KARMA!

Oh don't get me wrong! It's funny alright! And he is not really a corp thief when he only took what he was owed. And it's good to know you have offered to watch his back. Excellent job, Funk, well played. This game has so many angles, so much fun can be had with simple planning...and so much can be lost when corps don't pay attention. I applaud you for exacting a toll for the nuked frigate - and also for not completely cleaning them out. Kind of a "honorable revenge" sort of thing.
You're not a "corp thief", rather a "vengeful opportunist" that had a goal, planned it well, and executed your plan with some forethought. Too bad about the boohoos from the corp....I guess I would be embarassed if that happened to my corp too, but MAN! They are quite the crybabies about it...thing is, you could have done WAY worse to them if you would have stuck with the corp for a few more weeks...access to the wallet, cleaning out the entire hanger, etc.
You can join my corp any day. The game needs more creative thinkers.
And to the corp that this happened to: Shake it off, realize that there's consequences to YOUR actions, too...blow up a frigate like an a-hole, get treated like an a-hole. |

A) how come you and me were ore thiefs for a day remember that i sat there and watched you take that dudes crap.

Grats to you funk on your grab, however I would like to say that it would of probably been better to stay quiet about it, as some people think that corp thieving is always bad under any circumstances. I honestly don't care, nor will I judge.

He was in the corp for like 3 weeks and opened a convo to ask for a few launchers to outfit his new ship since he spent all his isk, i said sure, gave him access. He couldnt take anything else since he didnt have access, i gave him rights on a few of them. He left the good stuff because of 2 things, 1# he was to stupid to know the difference, #2 i took the rights away when i saw what was happening, not because he was nice. Oh, and to anyone that wants to support a Corp thief, you will be destroyed in the same way as he will be.

Im sorry if someone destroyed your ship for no good reason, (if indeed it ever happened, I have yet to see any proof of that) but it does not make you any more desirable to corps looking for good members by doing what you did. In fact, I would say that the majority of corps would definitly think twice about having you join, and that any of those who did would be total fools to ever trust you with the corp hanger, much the corp wallet.
Good luck keeping this guy as your main, since you will be blackballed (at least by this player) forever.

You could be telling the truth, but your presentation of said truth and the maturity of your posts means you're going to continually fail to convince anyone.

I can tell you why he made up this nice little story, hes alittle nutty first off, 2nd he wanted to make his own corp with another guy and this was a good chance for him to steal what he needed to pay the fee's. But he will get his and for someone to wait 3 weeks to steal over a frigate, that we didnt even blow up is phsyco. The alt was by mistake it was my default character for posting so it posted like that.

Hi........im bored so i thought i should say a few words.
I dont care anymore than the next guy that joins eve for the first time! what happend.....happend. Im over it. But the principle NOW is that we really dont care what we lost, it was worthless to us but gave him some cash!! oh wow!. 1: I made it clear it wasn't Alliaanna above that would be fighting. Iteron V isn't a very effective weapon.
2: Where have I lied ? Ive told exactly the truth and remained civil both on here and in game.

It's hilarious to see people from the corp in question flaming this guy. At the end of the day, Funk Masta pulled one over on you, and got away with more ISK than you destoyed when you put down his frigate.
He is the one who profited from this, and tbh it's nice to see that he's honest and open about it, and used his main. If you guys show everyone in game the attitude that you have done to him in this thread, then you wholelly deserved it.

As func has started other threads about this topic ill re-itterate my post here. (see to War topic in General)
I am heartened to see not everyone is taken in by this lying thief which I am now certain of this after extensively going thru logs.
We have no records of noob kills.
Funk masta simply robbed the corp of enough resources to be able to set up his own corp. No reason other than incompetent theft. He decided to try to justify this by spinning a yarn to the forums.
As for claims of a corp of 27 veterans. HA I am one of the older members (not even 2 months old) we have a couple older than me including WFCTHEMAN and they have been using their resources altruistically to help the rest of us noobies. I urge everyone to treat Funk Mastas claims as works of fiction.
The works of fiction and the fact we are a new corp of young players are the reasons we are angry enough to war dec Func and treat him as a target drone until we get bored.
Also To the corps wo have war decÆd us Please steer clear of us if it is in error and contact WFCtheMan so we can adjust standings. However I am aware WFC is a Smak-talk king and these may be unrelated War decs (not surprisingly from pirate corps we have been skirmishing with.)
