Not because it's awesome way to show us what they wanted us to see but because nobody wants to add English subtitle to them. Everyone is perfectly okay to add Russian, Japanese, and Germany language but not English.
Not everyone that play the game can hear (myself included.) I am deaf and been that way since birth. I'm unable to understand any spoken words.
I know many other deaf pilots that plays this game. I'm sure they would like the same thing I am asking for.
I've asked countless times in past few years via forums, YouTube channel, feature request, petitioning. I get nothing back but same old story that they will pass the word along.
So far there have been ZERO result. |

Well... you could always carefully copy down everything that appears in german subtitles and paste that into google translate, you might get the general idea of the video
Or I guess you could use Youtube's "Transcribe Audio" not that it makes any sense
But whats best would be if English was included

That must make the 'eve has sound?' joke awfully interesting.
I have a small YouTube channel myself, and making subtitles isn't exactly hard, so I'm kind of surprised CCP hasn't just added them on already (especially with some hard to understand accents).
I'd be willing to reupload their stuff with subtitles if CCP would allow it.

There seem to many options to choose from to solve your specific problem. They just require some effort.
Having had deaf wingmen in the past I fail to see how loathing the effort of CCP in informing the vast majority of its playerbase would be beneficial for you, especially considering that with minimal effort you to could be enjoying their information even though they might not be optimal.
On the other hand, a reasonable request to caption the videos in English for hard of hearing/deaf people would be totally justified.

to be honest guys just bloody agree with the man, it should have english subtitles. Its called accessibility!
ps i love it when people who can hear try to understand how it feels for a deaf person and give poor advice.. |

Subtitles would also be useful for times when I can't use sound, such as when watching videos on my iPad in bed while the other half is asleep. |
