Hi Guys,
Quick question. PvP is great fun but doesn't really pay that well. What do you guys do to earn extra isk for yourselves? Just ratting or are there other opportunities to get cash to buy new equip etc? It's not that I'm gready, just wondering how someone would get the money to move up in class of ship, etc!

Well, there are lots of options when it comes to ISK : )
We're not one of these overly restrictive organisations which prevents you taking breaks to go NPCing or mission grinding when you need your ISK. We give free ships modules for PvP.
Sure, there are compulsory operations but they would rarely be more than 1 or 2 a week, with lots of optional operations for good measure.
We have negotiated access to some really nice areas of 0.0 for NPCing, so its not a problem. Though, personally, I have an industrial alt who keeps me happy :)

The ISSN is actively seeking PvPers to join its growing ranks.
We are currently 125 strong, with dynamic growth plans to fulful. Joining now will enable talented and active players to grow through our ranks quickly and make a real impact.
The ISS alliance will shortly manage no less than 7 public trade outposts. It is our role to police both the outpost systems, and protect ISS traffic in the spacelanes leading to them. In addition, we have a large KOS list you can work within, either independently or as part of organised gangs/fleets with genuine mission objectives. How far you take things is largely down to you.
To apply, make your way to KDF-GY, Agil, Torrinos, or EC-P. Our main base of operations is KDF-GY.

As stated there are lot of individual corps fighting ISS (=lotsa targets), but none of the big entities have yet challenged them (=no boring uber blobs, 100% tight camps nor POS wars).
And hardly anyone hates ISS(N), unlike many fighting parties who spur hateful words at each other. Most hunt fight ISS with gleam of profits in their eyes.
And all that for good cause, with partially sponsored ships.

LMAO, 3 week ?. He was a director in our corp for 8 months and in the corp for over a year :).

Hmmm do you accept on like secure terms. Do you guys only accept people with certain amount of skillpoints.
For instance we and a freind are Possibly interested in joining
I am a 27.2 mil sp character specilized in all Missiles i have every missle skill to 5 including citadel torps. I can fly Ammar Caldari and Gallente battleships and i can also use a caldari cvt ops ,stealth bomber, AF , and a dreadnaught (just finished training)
On the other hand my freind has 5.2 mil skillpoints is not specilized in any weapon can fly and use the weapons of ammar and caldari ships can fly their battleships but for a 5.2 mil sp character he can hold someof the best tanks ive ever seen.
How would this affect us if we were to apply to the navy.
I myselfe am former iss , -V- , and LV i am also a former fleetcommander and gang leader. we have had many fleet battles and 0.0 expierence together.
so waht im asking is how would this effect the recruitment

You and your friend would both be welcome.
The great thing about the ISSN is the diversity of experience, we have a balance of rookie and veteran PvPers and we like having that.
The young guys are happy in support or EW roles, which leaves those who can pilot a heavy-hitting BS free for more shooting.
Its a balance that works, in my opinion, and we would not wish to change this for anything because its a real pleasure watching people who have never PvP'd before learn the ropes and start enjoying themselves. Its equally good learning new tricks from veterans, of course :)

The young guys are happy in support or EW roles, which leaves those who can pilot a heavy-hitting BS free for more shooting.
Its a balance that works, in my opinion, and we would not wish to change this for anything because its a real pleasure watching people who have never PvP'd before learn the ropes and start enjoying themselves. Its equally good learning new tricks from veterans, of course :)

We would also like a piece of the PVP'ing in ISSN. We are 12 very active members, with about 25mill SP for the 5 oldest members, and and ranging from 10-20mill SP for the rest. Almost all of it is in combat skills for all members.
None of us want to leave our corps for which reason we will not join ISSN. We will join the ISS alliance, so iguess flagging will be fixed automatically. Therefore we were wondering whether it is possible to become some sort of affiliate members of ISSN, we can sort of form our own wing of ISSN. We wont require any ships or mods from ISSN, we can handle that ourselves, only the right to gain access to ISSN homepage and chat, so we have possibility of coordinating with ISSN. We can even throw in a carrier when necessary.

We do take former pirates as long as they no longer pirate. And trust me, we have plenty of targets floating around at the moment, so no lack of things to shoot.
We also seem to be split roughly equally between people who live in the US and people who live in Europe. So i'm sure there will be people around.
As for the rest... i'm not sure on the answers... being relatively new. Might i suggest you or your client pay a visit to the ISSNREC channel and maybe someone will be there to assist you in some of those questions.

There's always something happening, at least an op to join anytime, be it fleet combat, suicide gank, escort, POS bombardment, whatever. And when things slow down a bit, late in the night, then someone comes up with the idea of running some complexes, or organizing some patrols, whatever. Omg. We have both new players and a lot of very experienced combat pilots, and hell, this is really different, it's going to be a good pvp force with fun.

I am primarily invested in combat skills, and will continue to train in that field, until he has reached perfection. In that regard, I'm searching for a alliance-affiliated corporation, who is willing to take me in, for some field-experience.
Though I have played long enough to get a handle on how to fight, and what necessary skills are needed to do certain tasks, I am somewhat uncertain if I would qualify for your organization.

Now i guess this is because i used to be a 2nd account and thus have no standings or corp history to speak of. However i am over 2 years old and have over 14mill SP. This is now my main account because he's now ready to do PVP.
I renegotiated the application, but i now see in the reactions above it will probably take 4 days before they are reviewed again... Come on, i'm bored!

I'm curious as to applying as a corp to join the alliance. This summer we hope to bolster our numbers and get into some serious gaming. Since most of our corp is in their finals week right now, we can not truely start playing for another week or so.
We are young yet and still learning (all characters range from 4-6 months in age) and we don't have a set goal corporation wise (some of us want to do PvP(me pirating possibly) and others want to mine/manufacture), but as stated before, we are still young yet to be setting such goals.
So, any information would be greatly valued.

Drones and missile skills are upp, mechanic skils also.
Never done piracy so I am clean there though some people might want to call me a pirate from killing them in 0.0
Have some experience in PvP but I spent my first years carebearing so it can get a lot better.
Will probably apply after my final exams are over if you are still recruiting. (in 2 weeks)

We shall then enter a period of 'consolidation' in which we will bring all the new PvPers up to scratch with the assistance of our many veterans, as we move to becoming a more fluid and effective fighting force.
We will open out doors again for recruiting when we feel the time is right, we have no firm date set at the moment.

I bwlong currently to a very small corp of friends If I or we join what are the Req's on free time im really looking into getting some pvp in havnt done much other than anti pirate stuff in .1-.4 but would also like to do some complex fun as I never done a 6+ do you hold any complexes in your region or such? also a Friend is a big miner can he mine along with pvp? or would we only do pvp
also I currebtly fly all Caldari/Gal CBC's but no skills for the links heh How do I get all my stuff out that far in 0.0 without loseing it all? ships and equipment wise

My brother and I are looking to join an alliance/corp to get into real pvp playing. We have all been playing for around 6 months and are looking to add depth to our EVE experience. We are somewhat serious players (+12 hours a weeks - my wife hates it. LOL) Killing rats and running missions has got old and we are looking for more risk and reward which we feel only pvp can offer. We also have two other close friends who play to gain financial reward. Mining, selling, building, etc. They are not fighters by any means. Would ISSN and/or other ISS alliance corps be able to accommodate all four of us and our two different types of play?

Im flying over to the Agil offices now.
Ive been playing Eve for 2 years on and off, mostly Off... Now that im done with school ill have a lot of free time. I havnt done any piracy, just ran missions a lot. I only have about 800k SP, but in the past week that ive started playing again ive progressed a lot as far as understanding and other things. I have a Carcal, shields tanked with Missles on all High slots.
Anyways, i'd really like to get into the Corp. Ill be there within an hour to apply. Ingame name is Gokor.
