Because some people dont like Atuk (omg can it really be?!). This is a public forum and people have the privelige of posting their opinions. The number of times a completly irrelevant comment from Celes, has turned into UBER smack from Atuk, can probably not even be counted.
I'll put it this way instead of yours: There is no place for YOU here, if you believe that only OMGILOVEATUK-people should be allowed to post here.
Personally, I'm pleased, Eve will in some ways be a lot better without smacktuck.
Unfortunatly it's just the corp going away and not its members.

If you meant me (because i quoted and answered you), then sorry but i'm no alt despite being in a NPC corp right now.
I first fought and started despising Atuk..probably when they went to spank FA the first time. It amazed me how so many muppets can play together in one corp and actually use smack as a way of playing.
I am yet to see anything anywhere to change my opinion, so hence I stated it.

You may dislike someone in game and in character and voice it here.
But whatever enemies we have I'll never allow myself to drop down to your level.

I wrote something with 50 lines..bit I cant bother.
I'll say one thing..the most commonly used flame against Celes from Atuk is this one:
"You never achieved anything."
WELL GUESS WHAT YOU ******* THICKHEADED ****S.
That has never once been the goal in Celes.
darth has 1 goal for the members...to have fun.
They dont aim to be a superpower and never have.
They dont aim to have 400 members and never have.
They dont aim to conquer a region and never have.
They dont aim to destroy an alliance and never have.
They dont aim to ally as many as they can and never have.
The list can go on.
Atuk is ego personified in this game, good riddance.

I do no such thing ponieus.
If somebody wants his fun by being in a major corp and alliance, why not, I'm not saying thats a bad thing am I?
I'm saying that Celes gets their laughs from staying as they are, by not evolving into something bigger. While people like (most of) Atuk calls this being 'failures'.

I was making the point that celest came a long way and in MY opionion (and maybe of other ppl) had its best times in the past. In all honesty wouldnt want to say the same about atuk, so going out with a bang (or ontop) seems smart.
Your goals or if you have fun were not really part of that analysis as im assuming none of you guys would pay if he hated the game or was just "wasting time".

I was foolish enough to figure i should explain how that type of smack is simply false.
Celes plays Eve in one way, Atuk another, both satisfy their members.
One would think the logic here is 'end of discussion', but I dont see it happening ever.
