A successful fleet battle of this scale takes a tremendous amount of coordination, discipline, and skill. Because of this, I think that fleet battles are the most exciting part of EVE. Sure, I love small gangs. But after all this time, the only thing that really gets my adrenaline surging anymore is fleet battles.
