The guy who lost it... Swaffer... was just futzing around, alone, in the belts testing his ship out. One of his NINE Dreds/Carriers ATM. Thats right, NINE. He was not fitted for PvP and was not NPC'ing in his dread , he simply was just out for a spin in one of his new ships and got caught with his pants down. Simple as that. Perfect timing for the goon blob to jump in and congrats to them on a nice (and extremely lucky considering their timing in jumping in the system and his setup at the time) kill. Not that it matters, but he took down 20+ ships before he went down (a bit bigger number than Goonfleet reported)
The ship has already been replaced and his focus (and considerable resources) are now focused on the goons. I imagine you can count on one hand the number of guys who have the resourses (yes, he has one of the most valuable BPO's in EVE) to wage a one person war and this guy is one of them. Something tells me he will cause more pain for Goonfleet in the long run than the loss of one dread (which, being totally honest was NOTHING to him).
It makes me chuckle at all the smug remarks in this thread at the Moros loss. Remarks made by people that have not accomplished 1% of what Swaffer has in this game.
When the goons kill his second Moros, fitted for PVP this time, what happens? He fits and looses a 3rd? Honestly, theres nothing worth killing in S-U with a dread anyways.

You can go on to strength again now you kicked Wizard out of the corp, all his promisies of pvp always seemed to end up with fit an ecm module and ultimatly several thousand bistot.
Ob this a joke? What promises of pvp? ahhhhh very funny i see now. The bistot gag gives it away seeing as last time i fitted mining lasers was up when we lived in tenerifis, only had em on 10 minites and then just thought feck this.

If what you read then he is indeed alucky person to have soo much disposable isk on his hands, i for 1 would love to rampage on a solo run through all 0.0 regions in a nightmare or bhaalgorn myself .
The only question i have for u is.............are you a fully paid up member of the swaffer apreciation club?

edit: btw, shield tanked moros that's something in eve i don't want to achieve.

Anyway, losing a Moros to a t1 fleet of small ships just shows how much skills you got, even tho he has a Hulk BPO, it does not make him king of eve. He sucks nevertheless and is one of does that should not be flying a Dreadnought, yes, I am calling Swaffer a n00b, and he gives all other n00bs a bad name!

So basically you're saying
a. Losing a dread is meaningless to this guy b. This guy is focusing the entirity of his resources to waging war on those who blew up his dread.
Yeah, that makes all kinds of sense
Seriously, I know you guys enjoy trying to spin this kind of stuff one way or the other, but you really need to make up your mind and go for a little bit of internal consistancy otherwise you end up sounding suspiciously like you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about and it ends up coming across as pointless schoolyard posturing.
Although I guess that can be fun to.

Winning a money printing machine in the lottery is sure hell of an accomplishment. I better be winning a T2 BS BPO when they'll be out, so I can go get killed dreads and carriers all over the place.

[UPDATE]
It would seem that Supremacy are determined not to be denied a second time and have amassed a significant force. At this very minute it rumbles towards the home of OSS and Goonfleet.
Composed largely of battleships this time, can the OSS alliance withstand a concerted attack?
Watch this space. |

Dan ur forrget that 90% of the fleet is tech 1 frigs and cruiser... all u need is another moros shield tank right in the middle with smart bombs and half the fleet is dead

Thats what JQA said about VV-V. Mind you, this time of course there are different sets of corps involved on both sides . . . to an extent. Either way, be intersting to watch and hear about, though i doubt it'll be as grand as the original big fights in that constelation.

Well, considering the Dread was fully insured too and, as previously discussed ad nosium, the mods were nothing to write home about, what exactly did swaffer really lose besides a little pride. If taking a little ribbing from a bunch of 12 y/o's like you and Iceblock is the worst of it I think he will be OK.
As far as your other comment about 206 sucking or whatever, I just wonder what that makes BOS since our killboards are riddled with your ships?

I seem to remember a certain CEO bragging about the 10 or more T2 fitted BSs he had in Y9G, and how he'd never leave because it was his home.
We'll eat through those dreads like we ate through those Battleships.

I am assuming the CEO you refer to is Whosyadaddy. Maybe not, but I cant see who else it would be. That being said, he is still in y9 as he has been for god knows how long now. As far as the 10 t2 fitted BS, well, I am looking at our killboards and funny that I am not seeing all these BS kills you refer to? Imagine that. What I do see, however, are more goon kills that I can count....including several BS (not just the newb frigs as you guys always like to say).
If I were you I would stop worring about y9 and start worring about where you are gonna go after we boot you out of SU. Seems like your little numbers advantage you guys are so proud of is dwendling every day as more and more groups sign on to the cause. Supremacy is just the latest. There will be more.
So let me ask you......you never could match out players skills, resources, or equipment. We have dismantled you at almost every major engagement even when we were routinely outmumbered three or four to one. All you had was numbers. That will soon be nullified as well at the rate you guys are ****ing people off. What ya gonna do then? Better start looking for a new home.

What are you talking about? "Dismantled at every opportunity" - what a crock of crap. 206 tried to eject GoonFleet with Cruel Intentions when the goonies first moved into town, and failed. They then spent 2-3 months screwing around in Y9G and Solitude, doing absolutely nothing and making no attempt to move any fleets into S-U. Even after allying with Galactic Aurora and NBSI, 206 STILL don't show up to any fleet actions around M2-, let alone S-U8. In fact, that dread kill GF got on 206 was the first major contact either side had had for weeks and weeks.
WHOSYADADDY has been promising to "kick GF out of Syndicate" for months and months and hasn't even tried to come up to S-U8 with any sort of fleet to do it. You guys are just **** and vinegar because a load of newbies moved in next door, took all the good belts, and can zerg you whenever they feel like it. If anything, GoonFleet gets stronger every day as those frigate flying newbies get fat and rich off of 50 belts of crokite and hop into battleships. It's 206 that gets proportionately weaker and has to rely on other corps or alliances just to match GoonFleet's size.
PS: check the "ships destroyed" in the latest XS- battle between Supremacy/Galactic Aurora and GoonFleet/OSS. Guess who won, destroying 15 BS and losing 2? And also guess who WASN'T even at the battle - 206. I'd be worrying about where you guys are going to go when OSS kicks you out of Y9G

This is incorrect, 206 was indeed at our latest battle. It was a good fight for both sides and I enjoyed it immensely.
That said, I don't know who you are but if you're in Goonfleet or Goonwaffe, you need to stop posting. You don't look like a Goon to me, but understand that we have a strict no-posting rule, especially in smack-ridden threads like these. If you are an ally, we would appreciate it if you would stop posting in regards to our corporation. If you'd like to get into contact with me, please do so in-game.

Screwing around? BRS was totally destroying TCC! Or at least thats what their killboard is trying to express while counting every OSS and 3FA kill as TCC .

I tend to disregard what CK has to say, because they killed my dominix! I mean, it was an expensive one! It had warp core stabs and a couple of basic expanders :( Well, to be more to the point, Gallente frig at 3, and no gallente cruiser....
More to the point, Fighting is fun, Explosions are pretty, and the last man standing writes the history, so let's wait until there's a last man please :)
