I looked through my standings and I see I took two .06% hits to Gallente the last time I completed the Caldari Epic Arc, unfortunately I cant tell you for sure if that was from the Arc mission, or a possible storyline mission I picked up on the way, I do each factions Epic Arc every 90 days and I never really noticed a small drop in one faction due to the other faction Arc.

I'm curious to know which mission or ships give a standings penalty in the Gallente arc. I don't see any corresponding negative hits to any of the other three factions during the last time I completed the Gallente, so they might have worked that one out.

Unfortunately I have better than 6.0 standings (Currently, was 7.0 but I did some cosmos mission) with the four major factions, so it gets a little hard to decipher where what standing bump/hit came from, but suffice it to say the hit you take in any epic arc is minimal compared to the 12.5% bump. If your worried about the negative possibilities then go dedicate a few days running for the starter agent corp for the opposing faction(s) and once you complete one faction Arc go the run the other.
A -0.06 is easily obscured by a +12.5.

Batelle wrote:Oh, well, who cares about faction hits vs the syndicate? Although if you're running the arc to get syndicate standings, this would be quite a bite. I'm due to run the arc in a few weeks, I'll be sure to check it out. WOW, on that note I did something on 2014-1-9 that incurred -0.25 x 6, -3.0 x 3 against Syndicate, but I am not seeing a corresponding Arc that could have incurred it. So I am going to assume it was me accepting a bad (faction) Storyline. On that note though it might be good to get some more samples to decide.

Not a terribly important faction, but POS standings might be relevant to some players. I once went through the derived standings tables to try to figure out the best path to 7+ standings to all factions. Running missions for Ammatar is an interesting way to resolve some of the derived standings issues of the 4 major factions. I'll have to see if I can find my old notes on that. I have a corresponding hit from the Minmatar Epic Arc of -3.0 x 2 to Ammatar (Both Ship kills). It is timed to make me believe it might have been at the beginning of the Minmatar Arc. So you would want to be very careful or have a Friend/Alt kill the rats.
