It surely cant top 500mil ? Or can it ?
Jeez I suppose anything is possible with the HAC cartel pushing prices up to stoopid levels.
So - does anyone actually own one of these ? Or is it like the long forgotten gold and silver magnates - delightful hanger baubels ?

As far as I know, they were given out as part of an ingame event before November 2004 (when I started playing).
In short : not available unless you have some billions to coerce one of the lucky owners into selling you his ...

Yes, exactly like the magnates. There were only 50 or so to start with (or was it 25?), and the ones left will cost billions. Yes, billions, plural.

49 silver magnates, 1 gold IIRC, or was it 24 and 1....anyhow. Yeah, the silvers, if anyone sold them, would probably sell for 10 - 20 billion.

It still has the +1 active drone per level bonus, but I think that will be "fixed" someday ... and it's a collector item, mostly.

I bought mine for 55m just after the event. There were 5*10run BPC handed out. I would guess that there are maybe less than 20 left in game. One of my corpmates killed one as a war target a few weeks back, i bought him an AF for making mine more valuable.

i believe one sold on the forums a couple of monhts ago for about 500mil (i think it was Omber Zombie, but i can't really remember)
