On your average mission you face more ships than you can take on by yourself, but you can just bait 2/3 at a time till they are all dead, i dont think its just something the caldari can do. ________________________________________________ Hypocritical.

Same thing works with pretty much anyone and level 3 gunnery skills. I've run level 4s with ravens and apocs with the same relative level of gunnery skills (large/siege 3, support gunnery skills at level 3, bs 3) it takes a bit longer in the apoc since you can't tailor your damage to the enemies but if you're not an idiot level 4s aren't very hard. It's a question of being able to tank just long enough and knowing when to run away.
Uggster	Posted - 2006.04.01 22:22:00 - [10] Why dont we have it that you have to tell the missile to explode by typing "BANG" in a popup window when the missiles get close to the target, this would mean that you could not do this and align to warp at the same time meaning you would have to fight to the bitter end while typing like a madman. The you would not see so many bloody Raven around lvl agent station now would you.

That would actually be more effective in a turret ship, as he's losing the firepower from the missiles that are still in the air as he warps, and it takes a while before the missiles start to do damage. _____________________________________ meep meep

It proved quite easy to sit there the entire time lobbing cruise missiles and using my 425mm guns. And the drones only made it easier. For every Mega or Tempest or Apoc I see, I already see at least three or more Ravens. It gets tedious seeing this big ugly thing flying around everywhere. Last time was travelling in gang of ~30 battleships, there was literally _one_ Raven in it and one Scorpion, which ironically enough was equal with amount of Domi's alone. Nevermind the Megathrons, Amarr and Minmatar ships... this is quite typical numbers, save for Scorpions normally being bit more frequent.

I'm sure they are somewhat useful in fleets and all, but with big groups, the ability to alpha-strike something and kill it instantly would be a huge boost.
