Ok well ive done away with my omen and went for teh kill, unfortunatley the setups in the other part of this forums are helpful but ive been hearing rumors of a 2k dps geddon and would like to know what it is. (if its possible without T2 and 2 billion isk)
If not then i would like a good mulit-purpose setup (pvp- and rat hunting)
Preferences: I would like to know what is the best setup for my new geddon without having to use T2 equipment...thanks in advance.

It was never possible even before the stacking changes, and it is certainly not possible now.
And getting even above 600 DPS without tech 2 will be a challenge

i know...im working on T2 atm but it wont be done for about a week or two and would like a good setup until then.

7 T2 tachyons, good skills, 3 t2 dmg mods + gleam = 720+ dps..

as an estimate how much for just the turrets?

Armageddon maxes out at about 1300 dps, no matter what skills, mods you put on.

I don't think you're going to get 2k DPS from anything other than maybe a Moros with max drone/dread skills. A completely estamel'd Navy Raven is probablly well under 1500DPS, and would cost more than a mothership (but my god what a sexy ship that'd be ).

you will need Chelms Heat sinks,t2 or Officer tachs,top grade Gunslinger implants and maxed skills with either t2 or faction ammo

1x Torp Launcher with best high dmg tech 2 launcher + ammo
4x Heat Sink II
5X Tech2 Heavy Drones
No idea how much DPS that would be with top skills...can anyone calculate it?

no launcher slot.
with 7x MP II with multi, 4 HS II, and 5 ogre IIs, you'll get 1090 DPS. With conflag, damage implants, and faction/officer heatsinks, you could probably push 1500-1600.

think I worked it out right, but with maxed skills, officer hs + guns + crystals + 5 ogre 2s + 5% rof + 5% damage gives you about 1725 dps

High skill gal mothership can do well over 2k dps, depending on fighter tracking and the targets resists.

Armageddon with max skills and 4 Heat Sink IIs using Multifrequency L:
7x Tachyon II = 519 dps (will go up after tach change)
7x Mega Beam II = 509 dps
7x Dual Heavy Beam II = 424 dps
7x Mega Pulse II = 640 dps
7x Dual Heavy Pulse II = 553 dps
7x Tachyon II with Gleam L = 646 dps
7x Mega Pulse II with Conflagration L = 798 dps
factor in 5 Heavy Drones and you get = 976 dps with Mega Pulse II and Conflag L

Then don't ask for setups with an impressive sounding DPS.
T2 is just a time thing, but it's the norm among older players.
2bil on faction mods is an extravagence, a sign you're not going to undock it much except for predictable NPCing.

Pre-RMR, fitting 7x Vizan's modified Mega pulses and 8x Chelm's modified Heat sinks and t2 drones would still not get 2000dps.
A CN raven with t2 rage torps, 4x estamel's modified ballstic controls, max implants, t2 drones with max skills can get close to 2000dps.

Do you mean for completely tech 1 with no named modules? the absolute bare bones?

With 6m isk you probably wont get 7 Tachyon Beam Laser I, and when it pops (which it will) you wont be able to afford another.
Seriously think about this, I know you want your shiny gold BS NOWNOWNOW, I was the same, but can you really afford to buy it, fit it and lose it? if not, be patient, wait a bit, do some more level III's in a BC and get some good offers then take the plunge.

I dunno about this one. I felt that I should go the same way that you are saying, and then a PvPier in an Ishtar caught my Prophecy in a Complex. I had just around 100 mil to my name after that event and I decided to invest in an Apocalypse. So I had like 10 mil to fit it afterward, and my BS skills are total crap. Actual BS skill is III, and I cant use large guns(are large ones even worth it for lvl 3 missions?).
But you know what? I'm a lot more efficient at doing lvl 3 missions in it then I was in my Proph with BC skill at V and pretty decent skills in rest, plus lots of expensive mods like Modulated Heavy Pulses and Cap Recharger II's.
Apoc, just tanks stuff easier because it has such a bigger hp buffer, and a LOT more Cap. Plus 8 guns instead of 6, and more flexible fittings, so I can actually fit Beams instead of Pulses. Sure I get hit harder in it then my resistant Proph, but when half lvl 3 missions end without me taking Any armor damage because rats couldn't drop my shields, I just laugh.
So don't be afraid to get a BS(Geddon in your case I guess). Just make sure you don't risk it if you can't afford to lose it. Keep in Empire space and do missions. Just be sure your BS can handle any situation, i.e. don't get popped by a swarm of frigs that you can't hit.

I fought a 2k dps geddon (according to its owner) on the test server... Its insane. I also can tell you you'll never be able to get all the mods needed to get this kind of damage. Oh, and this was before the damage mod stacking nerf.

max with t2 conflag firing mega pulse (and t2 drones and even a large smartbomb) is 1305 - maxed skills, no implants
