If you want fun, then calculate the time to reach the break-even point for the normal T2 production.
Include the costs for the needed POS, POS fuel, 10-20% losses to pirates, transport and manufacturing time in comparison to basic mining and then look at the market prices for most T2 stuff. Do not forget to include the skills and BPO cost, the time to train the skills and to get to good standing with the R&D agents to have a chance to gain a BPO through the lottery.
NAGA and BIG are catering to the reseller market instead of using the normal market system of supply and demand to their own benefit. They have enough T2 BPO though to have their POS running at full efficiency. I hope they do.
Wow... i've never heard so much wrong all in 1 post!
I've got access to a friends T2 Ship BPO. Its his BPO, but he lets me build ships from it while he is away. It costs me 30M to build the ships, and i sell them for 100M.
It involves 0 work beyond buying the components off the market (3 mins), and setting up a factory job (2 mins). That's it. For 70Mil profit a DAY.

Now, i get your point. Sure, you could attempt to run the whole network for yourself, right from mining moon materials, to reacting it all, to building components etc. I understand that, cos i run a network of 5 POS. I play 2 hrs a day to make sure they are all setup and running ok. I make quite a lot of money out of that.
You know how much extra profit i'd get if i moon mined + reacted everything i need for the ships?
An extra 17M / ship.
If i had a T2 BPO, i WOULDN'T bother about an extra 17M / day when i was already making 70 for 0 work.
As for the POS market, its a lot of work to run POS. And as more and more people are doing it, supply is increasing where as demand is staying fairly static. Therefore prices on components and moon materials are dropping, once again pushing the profit on a T2 BPO up (as T2 sell prices aren't greatly affected by component cost).
So there we go - thats my experience as a T2 Producer. I have a T2 BPO, and i still think the system is unfair.
