Also....
There is no end game in a sandbox dont let the nullbears make you think that.
The leader of goons himself has even proven this with some of the crazy crap he has come up with.
Even if you could train everything in the game and somehow be perfect at all of it (neither will happen) there is still stuff to do if you can come up with it. Don't let yourself be stuck on a track of PVE or even PVP. This game is first and foremost a true sandbox... although so be it a PVP oriented sandbox.
A lot of the "end game" people give up quite a bit for what they have.. wich is another reason alts exist. Yes there are a lot of them that understand what I have been telling you, but not all of them. This reason is why Kill 2 became CCP Rise for example. Dont listen to the elitists and the whiners. Be happy with what you have and learn to use it to your advantage... that is what the people the "really" play EVE do.
Basically I am telling you that this is an awesome game and if you ever feel jaded or think there is nothing else to keep you playing, well there always will be. You just need to really understand how the game works.. If you need help just ask.

Highsec, lowsec, nulsec, wormhole - there are players that choose to live in at least one or more of them all. They make that choice usually based on what they prefer. Most of highsec seems to not realise they have that choice, however, and I recommend you have yourself a taste of all four and decide for yourself which you prefer, as I did. I live about half my time in high, the other half in low, depending on my priorities. Don't listen to anyone on which is better, because in the end it's entirely up to what you, personally, prefer, and what you're getting out of it. There is no reason to stay in any one of them, or leave any one of them, that isn't your own.
Also, if you get impatient looking for a corp if you aren't already in one, hit me up. I have some friends around and I can get you sorted. You don't scare me. I've been to Jita. |

The server simulation runs on 1Hz, whenever you take an action it will have to wait for up to one second to be processed in the next server tick. This means that twitch-based combat/dogfighting is impossible in EVE. |

Server tick frequency would determine the implementation of those commands given to TQ and not the rate that commands can be given locally. [I think]
The delay you are experiencing in the Radial Menu is most likely because the default Radial Menu Delay setting has its value set higher than zero. To fix this... hit Esc and look through the Menu tabs - it's in there somewhere, promise - put the slider all the way to the left.

This is my first forum post, so I hope I'm not doing this wrong!
I've been playing Eve for about four months now and I have never encountered anything like this in my entire life! I've been playing games like EQ, DAoC, WoW, etc and I feel like the typical high fantasy MMO has been ruined for me. Eve has almost an addiction for me lately, logging on everyday and integrating it into my daily routine.
First things first, Eve players are some of the most interesting and sweetest people I've ever met! And one of the most important things I've learned from Eve so far is that you have to find a good corp because it's real boring playing by yourself! TS makes interacting with each other personal and I've grown really attached to my corp members. I'm just lucky that I discovered them!
The second thing, I'm glad that I left high sec when I did! I was a HS carebear for the first month or two, before I discovered the wonders of wormholes. Now I've been corrupted and can't see myself living anywhere else! Never a dull moment (except when there are no ore sites. That's pretty boring haha!)
I guess I'm just really glad I found Eve because I've learned a ton of things that apply to the real life degree I'm pursuing in Economics. The market is so intense and sophisticated that I'm just having a grand ole time with this game all together!
Sorry if I rambled a little, Eve gets me excited!
Thanks for taking the time to read this! |

I only get that kind of lag when my internet connection is not working right. You might try speedtest.net to check your ISP/wireless throughput.
Eve does a great job of running on less powerful computers. |
