Like the warp bubble in concept. Except its on a support ship and all ships in the bubble act cloaked and undetected.
If they fire they got 30 seconds till they can be recloaked.
I think it'd be very cool to see that. It would really change how battles are fought.

Everyone would have to be huddled together. And if one person slips out of the radius, then they whole game is given away. Might frustrate a lot of people in the time it takes to marshall a fleet..

Could be neat, people would think twice before opening fire, just incase it has a small fleet huddled near it or not.

This is a good idea, but might be difficult to get a perfect ballance. If it can be done it would be cool.

What happens if a hostile strays into the bubble? After all, none of the current bubbles we use differentiate between friendlies and hostile, they scramble them all.
And what do you do when you want to start shooting? Warp Disrupt Probes cant be activated or deactivated, they just stay on til the timer runs out. Now, maybe if this was a mod similar to warfare link mods, so you cloaked people in your gang (but not yourself) within a certain radius and could decloak them by turning off the module... ---------------------------------- "There's no +6 Sword of WTFPWN in Eve." - Er... Also only ganged ships in the bubble area can be cloaked.
Maybe a size limit of up to cruisers and HAC's can be done in the bubble.
Moving the whole gang in the bubble can be done just takes lots of skill. With each lvl of the skill for this would add like 1k more meters. So start with maybe 2k to 3k and max out at maybe at 6k to 7k maybe. Also a 2ndary skill for this clock bubble would be how many ships per lvl it could allow in the bubble. Default like 4 and each lvl adds 1 ship. a 3rd skill if they was interested would be reducing the distance at which the bubble can be detected. Maybe default detection is at 10k and after the 5 lvl of said skill training it would be down to 5k from bubble to detect.

I had this same idea just a few days ago. Amazing how the universe works that way. I believe the cloaked ships should behave as cloaked in every way.
The only real point I see to this though, would be to allow ships to safe spot and cloak. And well, if an entire fleet can cloak, probes become totally useless.
It is a neat idea. However it would just cause more headaches. Since cloaked ships still appear in local, you can't use it to setup an ambush. The only thing it would be good for is making a safe spot and cloaking a fleet there, to just give the searching party more of a headach since they can't find them.
Something that created fuzz perhaps and hid ship types (but not ships) might not be unbalancing though. If you know a ship is there, but not what type... kinda makes things a bit tougher when planning.. but you can't hide a fleet in it.

you can't target when cloaked.. how will a cloaked ship fire? This seems like a great way to give mid-sec gank squads a larger advantage than is already present.
