I've heard about this, and I'd like to ask to some experienced players:
- Is this effective or do you need a larger ship? Which kind of ships do it faster or safer? How long does it usually take to wear them down? |

I would farm them in an Ishtar while scanning down combat sites for a while. Used to be fairly profitable, but I the last 3 times I ran through my route (5 systems with 10ish belts each) I haven't found a single clone which put a damper on my hopes. I've heard the Enyo can take them on as long as you stack resist against their damage (hint, gurista ones do thermal, the other ones are as you would expect) It probably takes ~30 seconds to take one down with the Ishtar, around one and a half for an assault frigate. |

No need to stack resists, just rat in the correct space for the resist profile and any assault frig will be fine. "PvE in EVE is a trap to turn you into PvP content, don't confuse it for actual gameplay." Lipbite |

You need to rat in a 0.1 or 0.2 system to get the valuable tags, this limits the number of worthwhile systems, because you want a system with a decent amount of belts. Just keep clearing the belts, you have a chance that each new spawn i a clone solider.
Most ships are able to kill a clone solider, they are harder to kill then normal rats but not much, you can compare them to elite ships.
The best suited ship for farming clone soldiers, is one that kills frigs and cruiser fast, but also does quit work of battleship. You are going to find battleship's in the belts, which you need to kill to clear the wave. I'm a relatively respectable citizen. Multiple felon perhaps, but certainly not dangerous. |

Thanks a lot guys. I'm going to give it a try with my Enyo then. |
