This is not the best killboard.
It is the ONLY killboard.

To answer a question I've been getting quite a bit, for boards that include a signature by Brother Benthor, the setup fee is reduced to 150m (the cost of the banner) when you pre-pay for six months. (e.g. 50m off for prepay) ----------------------------

CDSV is interested in your 6 month plan. Is it possible to make the board look like our website? It can be found at www.cdsv.org. If so, what would be the charge? You can answer these questions via ingame mail and I will check as soon as I can log on.....later this evenining.

Thank you for excellently looking system; especially for the offer to include already existing mails.
Being statistic freak, I'm quite fond of kill mails. My current system is to upload mails to two boards ('standard' and corp), then retrieve copy of each kill mail to my home archive. Now I've figured it might not be good idea to write own individual analyses for those mails, and this looks tempting option.
So, allow me to ask:
1) You don't have pricing scheme for individual customers/pilots; for those who would want to use this and their corp board. Could this be considered? (At least the monthly free should be a bit lower)
2) Other than relying on manual 'hey can I have copy of my mails', do you support some mechanism of retrieving the original killmail from your server? Even possibility of fetching all mails through URL with incremental id (like on most boards) would cover this.
3) How are your contigency(?) plans? That is, is this mostly a vision of one individual, and service goes down when he gets busy/quits eve/etc?
4) Will you, in principle, support idea of connected killboards? That is, if maintainer of another board is willing to automatically periodically export his killmails to you, would you be ready to do the same? (Should be enough to insert killmails on single board..)

As you may find, the monthly price for a corporation killboard is, in fact, very competitive compared to other serivces. Our main goal is to keep the pricing scheme simple so that interested customers can easily see where they stand. Unfortunately, a 'Player\Player Group' board (what you're referring to) is the same cost as a 'Corporation' board.

Currently, there is no method to do exactly what you are saying. Should you decide to sign-up, however, we would be glad to help you in any way we can, including implementing the feature itself.

GriefWatch is currently being run by two individuals, both of whom have a long term committment to the game. I, for one, have been playing since December of '03 despite my employment history. I direct you to the T2 Ship Producers list which has been offline for all of 2 hours (besides regular downtime) since its inception. Even while I was on vacation I was checking my e-mail and adding new corporations. Also, even if one stops paying, for example, your board will remain online just without the capability to add new mails. We are very dedicated to our customers and neither of us have World of Warcraft installed.

Do we have this feature now? No, this is actually a very interesting idea that neither my associate nor I had considered before. However, this does sound like something that should be fairly easy to accomplish. Again, should you sign-up, we would be glad to work with you to implement these features. ----------------------------

Well, we just noticed that portrait updating has not been working like it should the past days. This has now been fixed and everyone can enjoy having portraits on their sigs instead of exclamation marks.

Edited by: LukAsh on 11/04/2006 08:10:49 These killboards are so damn sweet, best looking thing I ever seen
One thing tho - the ranking system - it could also show 2 separate views, one for only allied ships and hostile parties.

Indeed. The GriefWatch Killboard System has been 5 months in the making and most of that is unseen. With 10-15 minutes of coding most of the suggestions mentioned here can be fully implemented thanks to the powerful and unique backend to the Killboard. As we mentioned, we are always looking for new ways to bring you your information so please, keep em coming. ----------------------------

Very nice sig templates, will need to contact Brother Bentor about some custom ones, tho right now flash in his webpage kills my firefox...
Anyways another thing your killboard could use apart of giving an option to separate allies/enemies in ranking system, would be adding a faster way to extract kills for person/corp/alliance for a specific day.
Right now for example in search you can only take last few days/weeks/months, specific date should be there also.
Another very convinient way to add this are the date separators (ie: "Thursday 13th April, 2006") in kill lists. Those should be clickable too
Again great work and a free bump ___
