Out of curiosity, how many / which alliances have actually "seriously attacked" (30vs30+) your space within the last 6 months?
2 iirc.
One from IMP/The UnAssociated (i believe)/VC vs MO-GZ5 where they got spanked due to a POS bug and being totally disorganised. GM accusations were thrown around etc. Had a freighter that took a whole week to get out from there to Sakht due to having no instas and no real escort.
Second one was also vs MO-GZ5 and came from VC/NORAD/Serpentis Corp. Serpentis Corp pulled out, VC chickened out and NORAD got completely wiped out after their allies had abandonded them (think like maybe 5-10 people survived of the roughly 50 support ships they had at the gate we fought them at). We had more than 200 people in gang that time... was crazy really.

I believe they've sent down 2 frigate squads to Delve in total since we left the north after GNW. They had a fleet in Fountain for 1-2 weeks as well but they lost big in a fleet engagement and left after that.
You had the match between Ryan Routine and someone from Serpentis Corp where a bob fleet got raped by lag but they never stuck around after that so it shouldn't count for G's aggression vs BoB territories.

Good luck, kill you soon.
So it's totally beyond the realm of possibility that you ****ed off a neutral alliance so much that they join your enemies?

That was uncalled for, bad taste in the extreme. Blacklight's definitely one of the people who are usually on even keel on the forums.

Stronger ? I fail to realize how merging with a Industry alliance makes them any stronger ?
Like it or not adding a few industialists in your alliance that can manage all your pos's (offensive and defensive) does make a space holding alliance stronger. The ice requirements alone for a multi-regional alliance are enorgous. Things like ice mining and pos management is often something that is hard to get pvpers to do. Just ask some of the DICE members in your alliance chat how they feel about pos's. I promise that you will not get a positive response.

You might want to check Feb 08 2005 on your own kb, among other dates. I have a quite vivid rememberance of that day. Biggest frigs I've fought, I think.

Yeah the point that is imporant here is that nothing has changed other than the fact that their industry is not hidden anymore. Was just hidden in a load of, admittedly semi-effective, spin.

For a second I wondered whether you really believe that.
Then I realized that BoB wouldnt be where they are today if they had not much better (=correct) intelligence as well as a good working propaganda machinery.
So I guess these two things just go hand in hand .

there isn't a big enough
A 'neutral alliance' with G alts in their history.
A 'neutral alliance' with positive standings with G/IRON.
A 'neutral alliance' building capital ships for G.
Yeah.. there isn't a bit enough.
However, this news is tasty.

We could honestly say more or less the same thing as MC/BOB.
Though it doesn't matter in the end I suppose. The thing that makes alliences nuetral if how they treat everyone else. Not the people they live close to. In that regard I think TRUST did a good job of staying nuetral.

Kinda interesting to see how the southern corps generally see this just as a confirmation that effectively G & Trust were one.
But really think about it. Trust being neutral didnt save them from a total whopping by BoB and Co. If they re-deployed new shipyards they would undoubtedly go the same way as the old ones. If I were Trust hell yeah I'd join and help the people with the best chance to give the people who just attacked me for no reason a bloody nose.
Much better to re-deploy new yards deep into friendly space where the logistics of a new attack by an aggressor make such an attack a much more dangerous enterprise and where replacements for losses arent as readily available as they were for them in EC.
The ironic thing here is that a week on from the EC-P8R onslaught a new more powerful alliance has been born out of G/TRUST/FATE. All thanks to BoB & Co.
Good move guys on making this new alliance, wish you all the luck in the world.

I seem to see a bunch of G and former XF corps in there (NOT a flame). Interesting mix if I'm reading it properly (NOTE - I'm very tired, so please correct me if I'm wrong).
But GL on your new endeavor.

edit: and yeah, [DAD] for ticker would be... interesting :s
